Encrypted Message to Ryuk from DP2
Ryuk,
When you returned to your room you probably found this message transmitter I build. It can answer any questions you have assuming I succesfully escaped from the clutches of Unity.
You have been a good friend to me. That is why I could not tell you that I was forced to take part in an assassination attempt on Prime of Unity. There are elements within Unity I did not know about who call themselves the Unity Cyborg Hunters.
They have not given me any choice, and I fear they would hurt you as well if I did not be their instrument to get at Prime. I hope one day you will forgive me. One of my proudest moments was standing by your side attacking the ship of the Estrain Magnavore Alice Clegg.

Ryuk looks at the transmitter contemplating stabbing it with the reliable shiv that he has taken for Prime's body, he decides not to. He looks at the machine, and simply states, tell me everything you know about these Unity Hunters.

Re: Encrypted Message to Ryuk from DP2
Thank you for listening,
I am pleased that you are not injured. It was one of my conditions to both the Unity Cyborg Hunters and the Mercs hired to rescue me.
This all I know, and most of it is second hand.
The Unity Cyborg Hunters and the Unity Builders were designed in a laboratory in Tal Hanon on the penal colony of Refuge. General Kal'Shek created them as citizens of the Coalition of Enlightened Nations which at the time included the fledgling Beacon City, the hidden Fort Lendill, and Habitat 1.
The Builders were the heart of Unity. Good, peaceful and interested only in bringing peoples together with no ulterior motives.
Then a Merc named Trafex, a rogue Cyborg of the Wastes, began attacking CEN lands.
To combat this cyborg menace Kal'Shek unleashed the Unity Cyborg Hunters. They are cyborgs made of a Zela alloy, with only their brain being organic. Once Trafex was driven off, the Cyborg Hunters became the secret police of those uplinked to Kal'Shek's innovative design.
Then Kal'Shek was killed, and the Unity rose from his experimentation. The Cyborg Hunters remained the secret police, taking samples of enemy dissidents, even continuing Kal'Shek's experimentation into alternate power sources, even the demonic.
They were further corrupted when their first attempt at creating an Avatar of Unity was botched.
The Avatar attempted to copy the memories of the Devil Bishop Kasanth.
His corrupting influence gave the Cyborg Hunters what they needed.
They used the power of so many minds connected to make the sixth Ancient Evil, the Unity.
Even members of Unity turned on it and forced it into a final physical form.
The Cyborg Hunters have been protecting that final physical form and preventing Prime of Unity from discovering its existance.
Now that Prime moves closer and closer to uncovering their plot, the Cyborg Hunters needed him killed so they could rebind his mind after death on the next cloning cycle.
I have also learned something horrible. Those loyalty uplinks you installed in your soldiers. They aren't originally your design. The Cyborg Hunters fed you information over your uplink.
The technology is based on their own outdated Supplicant mind control technology which had been outlawed by the Unity for two years.
I don't know if this information will help you understand, but the Cyborg Hunters are preparing a trap for Prime in case he evaded their intended plan.
I know this is a lot to take in Ryuk, but your life may be in danger now that I have told you this.
Beware the Unity Core.

Sorry Ryuk,
They didn't share that much info.
I don't know where the physical form is.
I've heard the name Dragon of Unity thrown around but that may or may not be a misdirection.
These Cyborg Hunters are masters of misdirection.
