I am LT Ryuk of the Kasanthian Federation, and a member of the Unity. I have been in communication with Unity Prime, and he mentioned that you may be interested in one of my endeavors.

I have been working on making a "bomb" out of a plant, specifically a tree. What I have intended to do is create a self sustaining terrarium with the leyas , so the tree would grow as normal. When I activate the "bomb" the plant would grow as normal, just at a vastly increased rate. My intention was creating something that could take out starships (if on a ship) in a few minuets or start something that would eventually consume a planet in a relatively short time.

The indication from Unity was that you would be interested in the fast growing of plants, which I am currently having some trouble with. My skill with earth leyas is limited.

Would you be interested in working on some joint research on making this happen?

Somehow, the walking jungle projected onto a screen manages to seem... full of rage.

A small, glistening scarab flits in front of the viewscreen, and seems to explode in a buzzing fury of wings and sharp clicking mandibles.

"This, this ONE will not grant small-slow-worthless-choate Ryuk a WEAPON TREE. Obviously this Ryuk knows nothing of Oleifera. For its betterment of knowledge, this one POLITELY informs Ryuk that IT WILL NOT KILLEND, and by extension it will not make CHOATES that BLOW UP STARSHIPS. Maybe this one is IGNORANT, but it projects that a violently expanding tree, smashing outwards through a hull, will KILLEND EVERYTHING INSIDE. This one will not even BEGIN to discuss destroying an entire planet!"

The furiously buzzing beetle smashes itself into the screen, leaving a gooey smear across the lens, in the background a very pissed off giant forest stalks out of view.

To see a plant show rage that is talent!

We seem to have a misunderstanding, I don't want to make you a weapon, I want to do it to a normal seed, a non sentient plant. The technology involved, could be put to good use, like help with terriforming a planet and such, but that is not what I was planning on using it for.

I was just looking on help with the tech, not the bomb part, that was just an implementation of the technology. You would be able to use it to grow thing expediantly.
