Regarding the Fleets of Fate
Su was having a busy day. He had just gotten back from his meeting with Ryuk, Henner 12 as just back into the swing of things, and more problems kept popping up. He had just received a hail from the Gunrunners of Volans, which gave him pause.
He decided a meeting was in order, and depressed the Temporal Alarm given to him by Xec Cex.

Re: Regarding the Fleets of Fate
A big blue reptiliod alien appeared. It was not Xec Cex. He was wearing black tacticool commando armor.
"Mr. Maehl, I am your new handler. My name is Mr. Blood. How can I help you?"

Re: Regarding the Fleets of Fate
Su was taken aback by the events. Unfortunately, he had little time to spare.
"The Fleets of Fate are threatening the Gunrunners of Volans. They have st out a may day. I know theIron Republic won't assist and I do not trust the rest of the universe enough to assist in their endeavors. So I have three options, 1) do nothing 2) send a pittance of a force as a token of help, or 3) send in a force that will take down the mothership.
If I do nothing, we alienate potential allies. If I send a pittance of a force, we try, we'll fail, but we cut our losses.
And I have an idea where we can take out the mothershio with relative ease. I have 1500 stilettos at my disposal, most of which have disabler cannons. In one rush these squads can attack and disappear faster than a single barrage attack back on us. Disabled, it loses all its benefits and becomes cannon fodder. I have a variety of options from there, but my primary goal is to disable the mothership first. Once that has happened, they will be limited in their ability to hack our ships, convert our pilots, or whatever other heinous acts they engage in.
So I ask you. Mr. Blood, option 1,2 or 3?

Re: Regarding the Fleets of Fate
Mr. Blood smiled an unkind smile, "then there are no choices. Option 3 is the only real answer.
Answer violence with violence. Let the Grey know we are on their side and violently against the FoF."
And Mr. Blood left Maehl to plan on his own. Already Su could tell that Mr. Blood was as different from Xec as he could possibly be.
Days later, after the battle was over, Mr. Blood reappeared without prompting.
He said, "Mr. Maehl the Grey are assuaged. The FoF has been bloodied and you are now in control of one of the largest personal fleets in the Iron Republic or Free Systems.
Now you have three options. Option 1 let the Unity take care of its own problems.
Option 2 bring in the IR against the FoF.
Option 3 convince everyone to Unite against the FoF.
The Da'uhnb Queen have authorized me to put fifteen thousand Da'uhnb Commandos at your disposal.
What is your choice?"

Re: Regarding the Fleets of Fate
Su was overwhelmed by the enormity of the decision Mr. Blood gave him. It was interesting, because unlike Xec Cex, it didn't seem as if Mr. Blood knee the answer to the question he just posed. Su's mind raced, wondering if Xec had followed him through time, and perhaps befriended his future self, as if to know where Su's decisions would take him. Mr. Blood, on the other hand, did not appear to do the same. It made Su wonder about the nature of his relationships with the Da'unhb...
Su sighed heavily. "Mr. Blood, I am honored that the Da'unhb Queen entrusts in me such things. As always, it is a decision that is not to be taken lightly." Su shifted in his seat, taking a more active position. "Mr. Blood, the universe cannot continue to exist a s it is. Oppression cannot be the answer to all the ills of the worlds. Be it the Iron Republic, the Fleets of Fate, the Creeping Darkness, or Warmonger, something has to change. And the only way that will happen is if we alter the way everyone thinks. Mulilateral action and an instilled sense of cooperation, these are the things that will cause change. Not revolution, but evolution." Su paused to consider his next line of thought. "I apologize, Mr. Blood, but I imagine that despite having said these words for the first time, it is likely you have heard me say these words many times already. I appreciate your patience. I will take this opportunity to plant a seed of change. I will work to unite the disparate agendas that plague the universe and unite them under a common cause. I want to set a precedent of cooperation and unified action. Let it serve to remind future generations that it is possible, and that change can come." Su paused, "Option 3, Mr. Blood, I choose Option 3."
