Wk 6 Mission Planning: Alice Clegg's Corpse
Prime watched through the eyes of his loyal Triarius. He saw the approach of assassins, and the supposed death of Alice Clegg. Something was wrong here. He hailed the commanders of the TRILAT at the speed of thought. 0.02 seconds had passed.
Fellow commanders,
We require the bodies of Alice and her lover. Our Uth can use their bodies to determine their actions prior to death, which are crucial. This situation is not as it appears. We can use present forces and Reality Drills in order to extract the bodies and insert forces. We suggest others take conventional methods in, such that our insertion is a surprise.
Who will commit to this endeavor, and what will they bring? We strongly suggest that powerful and specialist infantry are used.

Will the bodies really prove to be that important? What do we hope to gain from further pursuit? I'm willing to deploy, but only if I'm satisfied that your goal isn't simply to feed your hunger for curiosity.

I can send a team of 5 Techno-Broken. Heading this team will be an Annihlator Goo Warrior. It will be equiped with an artifact with translate so that my TB's can communicate with it and so that the poor creator doesn't rip the ship apart trying to talk. I will also give them one of my Uth oracles to act as a lookout. I will be implementing one of Ryuks taticks and take a finger (in the TB's case, an ear) to restore them should they meet their end on theis mission. If you have any further suggestions, please let me know.

*TRILAT Encrypted communication*
All; we have forwarded communications to all relevant parties at the speed of thought.
Captain Axis, Lt. Ryuk, Prisoner, and Garmin Fe,
Firstly, it is important we act in this mission for two reasons; my study of the tactical data indicates that this is trap. Ryuk and his companion got to the bridge FAR too easily, codes or no. Secondly, I find the deaths of the Lovers to be highly suspicious.
After all, if they were dead and no threat remained, what in the great expanse coordinated such an effective and sophisticated ambush?
We require evidence from the bodies in the form of history-reading. Captain Axis, we believe you can do this better than any. Secondly, we need to quickly hack into the flagship's records. They should give us vital clues. This needs to be done while fending off the inevitable trap this ship represents. We think it is, at the very least, rigged to explode.
Enter through traditional methods; I will be sending Sanguine Lord Five with two Builders. They should be able to quickly hack the system and signal a reality drill for extraction to a forward lab. Forensics can tell us if there was a struggle, if this was suicide or murder. Under the circumstances, we would call this quite critical.

Perhaps I will assist. Just be sure you aren't about to transport a potential weapon into the heart of the Unity. If their was any faction who had enough knowledge of alien larva based-technology to extrapolate a weapon to be used against the Unity, it would be the E-strain and their commanding lords.
Have you considered the possibility that the Angel's of Desolation are no longer an ally? Have you considered that perhaps they see you as wavering too far off the path of an Ancient Evil to be called one anymore? Be sure that curiosity does not kill you.

The Rage of Ryuk
As DP00200 Yelled at Ryuk, his thoughts were elsewhere. All the Hard work, gone. Nothing left, his purpose in life, GONE. The RAGE that WAS PACified during THE HUNT, came to BEAR IN FULL FORCE. AS RYUK PROCESSED THE SCENE IN HIS MIND, HE INADVERTENTLY SET OUT TO EVERYONE IN THE UNITY THE STILL IMAGE OF CLEGG'S DEAD BODY, AND THE FEELINGS OF RAGE AND DISAPPOINTMENT.

Ryuk, what now? Do we stay on the ship? Do we abandon it as a tomb?
Maybe we should set fire to it, or ignite it like a Viking funeral?
Is there a sun nearby we can always fly the ship and corpses into it?

Garmin Fe,
This is why we have set up a forward lab for forensic studies. We would not want this potential weapon anywhere near a population center.
Ryuk,
The Unity frowns upon spam. Most of it was blocked, but I ask you to keep a cooler head.
Ryuk and Prisoner,
As I previously mentioned, all is hardly lost. They are dead, but the task of determining what has happened is left to us. Do you not want to know who pulls the strings? Begin collecting evidence from ship data, and prepare for the trap they have likely left. I suspect many E-strain are bearing down on your position as we speak.

AS DPrisoner00200 Looks at Ryuk, he can see the sheen of heat coming off of him. The heat is intense enough to cause the particles of dust to flare up in bits of fire.
We secure the body, perhaps Prime or someone knows a way to extract the metal so we can revive them. We need to get them to Marduk, with the rabble. With everyone else around who made it to the ship, we can deal with them, I will send a request for help to have ships blockade Marduk, preventing anybody from leaving. I have many that are returning from missions I sent them on, If we can delay everything enough, we will be able to determine what to do with the corpse at our leisure.

Wait, why would we want to bring them back to life?
you want to know who pulls the strings??? It's Angel D, that goes without saying.
Angel D was Tronde Vale' s boss she ordered Vale to turn Clegg. then Angel D ordered them both to torture me.
one of the greatest threats, Captain Alice Clegg Magnavore is neutralized. I may not have gotten revenge, but Ryuk we won the day. Why bother bringing them back? Then they might escape or worse?

DPrisoner200,
I want to bring Alice Clegg back to life to teach her the transient nature of death . . . . multiple times. I have a list of ways to kill her, I am in the thousands already . . . .
The other dude I could care less about, that Is why you could have him.

Ryuk,
It is not my place to judge. I was freed by your kindness. It was an act of mercy I will never forget even if I spend my remaining years as a magnavore or worse.
Endless torture and torment are what Clegg and her boyfriend did to me. Even if you feel they deserve it I can't stay here and watch it.
Torture is NEVER ok once you've experienced it first hand. No matter what Vampyrs like the Kasanthians say.
I think its time I risk the procedures Prime offered.

Re: Wk 6 Mission Planning: Alice Clegg's Corpse
DP200,
I don't plan on torturing Clegg, I planned on teacher her a lesson on the transient nature of death. When she learned the lesson, I was going to stop. I don't think talking about how death is transient will help her, I think she needs to experience it. I think, in this day and age, it is one of the best lessons you can learn, and dying multiple times is the only way I know how to teach this lesson.
Although, I would be lying if I said I wouldn't get pleasure in it to begin with . . .but knowing myself, I would get board with it quickly.

Re: Wk 6 Mission Planning: Alice Clegg's Corpse
Ryuk,
Repeatedly killing someone is in fact torture. I think you should learn that all life must eventually end. There is no being which is truly immortal. Even if the Warmonger succeeds, he will not live forever. In fact, the accomplishment of his goals will be the end of himself just as it would be the end of all other things.
I feel that your own personal lesson in the 'transient nature of life and death" has blinded you to the truth. If it be that Alice Clegg wished no longer to rediscover life again and again, perhaps that is a dream we should allow to be fulfilled.
Prime,
Is this really going to be the reason we salvage this body?

This will be a forensic study and extraction. This will not be a resurrection barring suprising new data. We have the Nelif and the fleets of fate to deal with.
I do not want an incident here. This is why I am devoting so Mich effort to the negotiations.

The Uth I am sending, as are all my Uth minions, very skilled in fact finding. He will instant recall for any traps arround the corpses and Ryuks men. As far as info on Alice, I need specific things to be serching for. What bits of info would you like me to look into.
Also, If I may add my two cents to this bussness about weather or not to toture or teach a lession to or whatever. While I do feel this mission's mane priortiy should be to uncover information, should the opertunity arise to teach Miss Alice a lession, we should take it. If I am out voted on it so be it. Her torture should not be a mane priority, just one of lifes little bonuses. Again, the goal of this operation should have a higher reason.

Re: Wk 6 Mission Planning: Alice Clegg's Corpse
Ryuk,
When we can, we must pick our battles. The Unity presently faces threats from the Nelif, the Quall, and Warmonger. Further, we are attempting to cull the E-strain in order to increase our own offensive capacity.
Any one of these opponents would strain our resources, but the combination of them all requires shrewd planning to defeat.
Thankfully, we have at our disposal allies who also wish to attack these foes. The presence of these allies allows us to gain crushing victory after crushing victory, without having to worry as much about our flanks.
Remember, the Unity is most powerful when fighting a single opponent. We can use our complementary tactics to exploit their weaknesses whilst anticipating their moves with prognostication. Were our opponents to join forces, this would decrease the effectiveness of our prognostication and exploitation, as the system would have dramatically increased variance.
Thusly, when we have the opportunity to avoid opening additional fronts, we take it. In this case, while the reconstruction of Alice might be fun, and might even get us a new commander, the opportunity cost is too great. This would allow the IR to attack, and would lead the EEF to attack as well. Blackheart and Ft. Lendil might even get in on the fun.
We gain nothing from fighting these technologically inferior opponents on the battlefield, except some battle-data.
Instead, we can work with these allies such that we can fight the opponents we DO get something for fighting. In killing the Neliff, we gain biological knowledge without parallel. In killing the E-strain we perfect extermination protocols, improve anti-virus, and exponentially increase the number of prophet fleets. In killing the Quall, we learn of the old races.
Keep this in mind as you grow in capabilities, and you will go far. Our efficiency and pragmatism bring victory. Hold yourself with pride.

Re: Wk 6 Mission Planning: Alice Clegg's Corpse
Captain Axis,
We are interested in two things; solving the puzzle of Alice Clegg's death, and her command codes.
Our goal at present is to destroy the E-strain command hubs, to keep them off balance. If you can simply find vulnerable E-strain planets, that would be amazing. If you could also find some of her command codes, or the E-strain chain of command, that would be even better.
We suggest caution in sending agents. We believe that the flagship is likely a trap, and so I suggest your people prepare for a fight, just in case.
