Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  Admin Sat Aug 06, 2011 3:52 am

Three years ago, at the height of Unity production, the technomagi of the Unity had built the perfect production facility. It was a citystation hidden on a shadow dimension, a demi-plane which held the Unity Core and nothing else.
Two years ago it was corrupted by the power of the Devil Bishop Kasanth, and its demonic powers ran rampant. At that time the Unity Knight of Justice rose up and began a civil war which culminating in her sealing away all of the worst of the Unity demons inside the Unity Core.
Now the station sits alone in the darkness of its demi-dimension, waiting for the power of the Metatrons of Fate to arrive.
Even now in the darkness of the demi-dimension a second city station moves to align itself with the Unity Core. Floating above Unity Core now hangs the legendary Morning Star Station, heart of the Horror Nexus, and coiling from its lowest levels was the Dragon of Unity.
The threshing legs of the Dragon of Unity cut the air as it finally reached the highest point of the crystal shaped Unity Core. It acted as the antennae linking the Morning Star Station and Unity Core. It was prepared to convert the entire Universe.
But this was still in the darkness of the demi-dimension of Unity Core and would need the Metatrons of Fate.
There were only two entraces to the demi-dimension of Unity Core. One was protected by an order of powerful uplinked Knights on the penal colony of Refuge. That entrance cannot be entered and is truly barred.

The other entrance however is an Energy Bridge. A single energy bridge which swirls open deep in the Polar Expanse of Space.
It is firmly defended by a pair of Iron Republic Motherships and five I.R. Interdictors. But when potentially twenty FoF Motherships and four hundred thousand Warframes could attack it was not enough.

Now the defenders of our dimension would truly have to fight hard. There would be no easy answers here.
The Fleet of Fate would attack head on, in numbers and use their infernal powers, Cherubs of Fate and Thrones to destroy all who get in their way. And if they reach the Unity Core while it is joined with Morning Star Station it will convert the universe.

After the purifier attacks 1,000 Da'uhnb will teleport in and report back
as the battle progresses. Then they will report their findings to the TEA and DQA.
Strike teams would be sent in of three Da'uhnb Commandos and thirty half-Da'uhnb commandos.
Their main goal will be defeating FoF Fiends and attempting to consume FoF Metatrons of Fate.
Each FoF Mothership would be assigned a strike team.

An army of 15,000 Da'uhhb would be faced with one goal only. Consume the Dragon of Unity and destroy Morning Star station. Without those two parts the FoF can't broadcast their signal.

After getting the message from Temporal Empire about giving aid in this mission my admiral appears at my quarters, "Sir, Temporal Empire is going to grant us access into the Free Systems if we help him fight the FoF." Admiral Jayne reports very quickly.

"I know, I just got the same message. Tell all available starfighters to teleport to his location and aid him as best as they can." I look to the Admiral and say in a very rushy voice.

"Yes, sir." The Admiral says and than turns around and runs to the command room to give the order.

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  blackheartsecurity Thu Aug 11, 2011 12:33 am

Blackheart mobilized everything, Tzira technicians had worked for days to shield the fighters and ships systems as much as possible from hacking. Hundreds of Aegis fighters stayed out of range of the purifiers attack. After it was done they would swarm to defend Morning star station from the FoF (If the IR, EEF, or any other faction decided to destroy the Unity Core the fighters would part like a school of fish fleeing a shark). Since EMP was relatively ineffective against the FoF the aegis would have dumb bombs instead.

All the stilletto fighters led by the steel falcons would zero point drive in after the purifier attacks and conduct a large scale magnus rush to disable as many mother ships as possible. The S-Crow would also ZP in to act as command and control for the ambush.

As the ambush retreated the Smiley (Blackhearts grey scout ship would ZP into the confusion and attempt to board an FoF mothership. They would drop off an EEF element (Hopefully Group II, Maj Raven the Butchers misfits, or VLAD ops group A codenamed: Shortbus). They would attempt to capture the ship so the EEF could exploit the technology.

The Heavy banking guild ship Silent Guardian would be deployed at the rear with friendly forces. On board the ship would be at full capacity with security contractors. If any ships were boarded by the FoF the Silent Guardian would deploy SAVs of contractors (With fire artifact muzzle guards granting warm aura, and fire dart II) to help the ship fight off the boarders.

Also on call will be all lion guard medics loaded onto Blackhearts freighter fleet. They will deploy to any ship with heinous casualties and attempt to resuscitate the crew.

Once the FoF mother ships closed with the defense fleet all the Sparrows, mantas, and gunpods in Blackheart's arsenal would mobilize from the rear to engage the capital ships and suppress their anti-fighter defenses. This would hopefully open a corridor so all Blackheart Machetes could strafe the motherships for full effect.

If all else failed and the FoF was going to take Morning star station a hornet shuttle craft would latch on to Morning Star station and deploy the a planetary pacifier to hopefully short circuit the FoF and cause the entire network to become apathetic.

As the operators and pilots prepared themselves for the battle to end all battles for the universe Childeen got onto the radio.
"This is our Universes darkest hour our very existence hangs in the balance. Every living thing should quake with fear for all hope has been lost.

This will be our brightest hour though. Each one of us are warriors who have proven ourselves time and time again. If death claims us all so be it, it will not find us cowering, in the trapped in the sharks eye we will never falter. What we do today will ring through the eons. Each one of us will turn the tide, and if we die we will wake up on Druzi, on refuge, on Cypress, on Conflagros, on Nilos, on Wylanda, and on Vitracite we will know that it we were the heroes. Each one of us will have one the war, our stories will be unique, but together we will be a force the connected cannot fathom!"

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  TheSectorGeneralDeer Thu Aug 11, 2011 10:42 pm

There is a strange symbol on all Iron Republic screens at mission command. It says the cryptic words:Operation TRUTH. Then the screen goes black, then red. With a cgi image of an IR Flag, the screen shows Deer in the full uniform of a Fleetmaster.

Fleetmaster Deer says, "Stockholder Maehl, Sector General Palomedes, Directors listening in to our communications, I am Fleetmaster Deer, not to be confused with Sector General Deer of the Polar Expanse. I control the entire IR Starforce located at Mars in accordance with the wishes of the Board of Directors. My mission involving Unity Core is simple and bold. Fifty Cloaked Trident Missile ships will be upgunned with Alioth Soil Mega Dispersal Weapons. After we have confirmed that the Unity Purifier is no longer in battle we will launch a salvo of MDWs against all FoF Motherships. These weapons will shut down all Nanites, so we got to pull any ship with Nanite shields out of combat before that bombardment begins. Once the entire area outside and inside Unity Core is dusted with Alioth soil we got the advantage. Then five Motherships will be outside the Energy Bridge blockading with their own Starfighters andd an additional 1000 IR Chaos Starfighters. they will be backed up by twenty three Horn Class starcruisers who will snipe using their cannons any capital ships not yet affected by Alioth soil (open a hole to let the soil inside).

Meanwhile I am sending 5 Century Class Frigates to deliver their drop troopers onto the Unity Core. Every team of drop troopers will be armed with TDW grenades to get as much Alioth Soil into those technodemons wounds. They got to be backed up by 100 Omega Brethren snipers with Alioth Sniper rounds to headshot any Sanguine Lords or Metatrons of Fate.

Supporting them delivered by 100 Raptors will be 200 AntLion mekanoids who will also be firing the Alioth Soil dispersal weapons. I will make Unity Core uninhabitable for technomagi from now on.

After dropping off their teams on Unity Core the five Century Frigates will use their domebusters on the "antenna" of the Dragon of Unity and Morning Star station.

A team of five IR Motherships will back up the outside blockade if needed.

Do not warn the Unity about the Alioth soil, it must be a secret if it is gonna take the FoF by surprise"

As the announcement ended the IR Starforce began to move, preparing for an important battle. A battle so important that Fleetmaster Deer himself would command the force from his new Mothership "Beautiful Andara".

In a stasis tube behind him on the bridge was the preserved body of his former CO and the love of his life Andara HiveQueen. She would witness either his greatest success or his greatest failure.

Deer wondered if this was the courtly love that old daft crumpler Palomedes was always jabbering about.

The first Alioth MDW was fired and Deer said, "connect with this you technomantic cowards."

Captain Axis was getting tired of hearing of the "other fleet of fate". He had bested them before, he would do it again.

500 Nodachis will be sent to aid all allied forces.
200 Kamikaze's will be deployed with a team of 4 Techno Brokens with the power armor upgrade 4 Anniahlator goo warriors each. they will try to take any fof mother ships and enamy capital ships and turn them on the "other fof". The techno brokens maji cannons have been replaced with chill and all Anniahlators are being given artifacts with jeary rig on them should the TB's get hit by frendly fire. They will also be setting up bombs void metal bombs in strategic locations of ships they bored, that when detonated, will cause the ships to explode like shrap metal bombs.
Also, 100 Nodachi's will be deployed with void bombs. they will stike at all clusters of enamy ships and any fof mother ships
Axis will alos be using his Knight of Fate abilities to counter the other fof and aid and warn allies of traps and enamy tactics.

Also, should Raggman decide to enter this fight, Axis will atempt to comunicate with him to plan a stradigy aganst the other fof.

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  Ar'yayhivequeen Fri Aug 12, 2011 4:05 am

Father Jerico, was place in charge of his first battle, he was nervous, he had a mixed force and he wasn't quite familiar with the new craft, he was studying the new Redeemer fighters and he was given the first batch of 250, he was very pleased to be using them. This fight was one of the most important of the entire conflict of the last few years. He would do his best to protect the free people of this dimension, he couldn't match the numbers of the enemy but the allied force seemed to match the enemy, his force might only be a small addition but they would do their part. They would protect their families and show the galaxy that the Church of Dawn's New Light fought for freedom.

After the Purifier has left, and the battle has been engaged, behind friendly lines 100 Ageis Gunpods, 100 Model 212 Starfighters, 250 of the new Redeemer Starfighters, 5 IR Starships and 5 Banking Guild Heavy Frigates. 15 Vespa Freighters shall come along with combat infantry armed with Assault Springshots and MANPOR Missile launchers

The capital ships shall join the defensive line while the fighters shall attempt to protect the capital ships and work defensively, the Redeemer Starfighters will attempt to move against any warframes that attempt to destroy the most effective allied ships while the rest of the fighters protected our capital ships. If there is a break in the defenses the Vespa Freighters will move in and attempt to land soldiers to help fight the demonic units. If after the battle any of them or the freighters survive then they shall withdraw wishing the Unity Forces their best and praying for good tiding between all of them.

(if I am not allowed into the Ardana Hive Queen mission, then i want to use my mission reward "Allies from the Brethren Expanse: the player may call in a Brethren Expanse Extermination Taskforce consisting of an I.R. Mothership, Four IR Starcruisers and eight Heavy Frigates. Single use reward use wisely." In this mission then)

Leroy Jenkins is standing in the Field Marshall's Office with a dozen troopers, a mixture of men and women of different races and including two bastards.

Field Marshall, Leroy has learned that those Fate fools are attackin the Unity Core in attempt to jack our brains! Now no one jacks Leroy Jenkins but Leroy!.....wait that sounded wrong. Anyway Leroy Jenkins doesn't stand for no fools jackin Leroy's brain! Leroy Jenkins pities the fool who wants to control his body. Leroy has found and has been training the best men, women, and children, the EEF has to offer to make an elite fighting force! (One of the troopers whispers something into Leroy's ear) What do you mean that there isn't any children in the EEF, look Leroy sees two kids right there, the ones with the bombs! (the trooper whispers something again) What? Bastards? Leroy doesn't care bout the status of those fool's parent's marriage! (whispers again) What? Bastard is the name of their species? (the bastards nod enthusiastically) Well, Leroy Jenkins finds that a bit odd to say the least but anyway. Leroy Jenkins has trained the best men, women, and...bastards the EEF has to offer into one BAD ASS unit called LEROY'S JENKINS! (the trooper once again whispers into his ear) What do you mean the troops don't like that name! It strikes fear into the enemy! Fine, Leroy will go with the second and vastly inferior choice "The Saber Outriders"
Leroy and these bad asses want to borrow a ship, doesn't have to be no big or fancy ship, but a fast one. We want to board one of those Fate fool's ships and kick their asses so hard that the only future they will be seeing is their crap comin out as they will be wearing their asses for hats!
Just give the order Field Marshall sir! These bad ass muthas will accompany Leroy so we can hunt fate, so we can watch them piss themselves like the little bitches they are.

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  Oleifera Fri Aug 12, 2011 2:49 pm

Something approached the FoF mothership, seeming to be nothing more than a glimmering pool of spacedust. Streaking towards its target, the cloud was targeted and fighters changed course to deal with the unknown threat. Silvery forms peeled away from the mass, latching onto approaching fighters and disabling them with sonic prowess.

Within the swarm of Troubadours, Marianette rode the largest. She had thickened her bark and added a protective coating to survive raw spaceflight. She encouraged her companions with gentle words as they neared an FoF ship. Upon closing the entire swarm broke apart and smashed into the side of the hull, hundreds of mouths latching onto the ship. They gnawed viciously, emboldened by their master’s cues. Once an opening was obtained, Marianette slipped inside, along with as many Troubadours as could fit.

[If enemies are encountered, the Troubadours attempt to grapple them or latch onto a wall and sing at high volume to disable them. Once Marianette finds any sort of terminal she will reach out to the Builder subnetwork, through Oleifera on Zahaz, the Builders already having been contacted and ready, and gather their song into herself. She will call upon every being connected to the Builder network, millions upon millions of voices, the deep hum of the Bodhi stations, the keening of the Troubadours, and she will unleash the combined voices into the FoF consciousness, a infinite surge of love and peace and calm. This will wash through the entire FoF connection and rollback into their universe, hopefully stopping the threat of FoF forever by converting the entire universe into Builders. Oleifera will use its rare trick of keeping its consciousness separate from the Builders to keep the FoF from spreading into the Builder subnetwork.]

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  UnityPrime Fri Aug 12, 2011 4:25 pm

Prime would miss the Fleets of Fate. They represented cold optimization, a simpler and stark world where all strength could be leveraged at all times. They had no understanding of diplomacy or nuance. They were the optimized application of raw force. It was their greatest strength and most profound weakness.

He was so close to Unity Core he could taste it. The ancestral seat of Unity power was almost in his grasp. Its acquisition would be essential for Prime’s future plots. Of course, the Justice choir and Kal’Shek were there as well. Prime had met Kal’Shek once, and had found it confusing. Perhaps this time it would be more like a family reunion of sorts.

Strategic Plan: Disseminated to commanders on the ground on a need to know basis

Defense of the Purifier (Fleet 1):

The Fleets of Fate would attempt to hack and hijack the Purifier, and turn it on the allied vessels. For all of the strength of the allied fleets, they were ill equipped to deal with Prime’s ship and the Fleets of Fate at the same time. Layers of defense and dirty tricks will allow the Purifier to survive engagement whilst splitting the FoF forces. The Purifier would not simply be crewed by screamers. 1000 Emissaries in Sarcophagi made of the flesh of the Purifier will sit in the center of corridors, and 20 of these Sarcophagi will be a ring around the bridge of the vessel. These Emissaries will use their hideous powers against all who seek to board the vessel. Further, they will use their intimate connection with the Purifier to defend the vessel from any attempts to hack. A second failsafe will be put in place; The Purifier will be hard-wired to blow out its aggression protocol after it is disengaged, or if it moves. Repairing this node will take a significant period of time, meaning that if the Fleets of Fate do successfully hijack the ship, they will get little of short term value. 10 Chill Shielded Void Lords will be escorting the Purifier, providing coding support, sowing confusion amongst attackers, and keeping the Fleets of Fate from focus-firing the Purifier. Further, they will attempt to destroy any shields protecting the ships from Screamer drones. 1000 Seneschals in wing suits and EM shielding will be in the Purifier battle as well. Their only function will be to disrupt any leyas based chil shielding with their Zela short swords, and to perform lightning sabotage raids against hard targets. They will act as spotters for 2 Dreadnaughts equipped with Zela grappling hooks and chill shielding, should any Ziggurats enter the Fray. If Prime has taken Quiet, he will take the Fleet of Fate’s attempt to hack the Purifier and turn it back against the progenitor of the code, overwhelming their attempts at aggressive communication.

Defense of Unity Core (Fleet 2):

Eight enormous Apostles will ring the swirling energy bridge to Unity Core, and they will arrive as the Purifier does. Importantly, these Apostles and the fleet they support are just out of the Purifier’s maximum range, and the Purifier will be stationary for this battle. Fifteen Dreadnaughts and 1000 Saggitae will also take part in this battle. The fight will be largely a holding action and a measured retreat to prevent the Fleets of Fate from bum-rushing the core. Once all but two Apostles are within the gate, the Fleets of Fate are within range, but before allied ships arrive; two of the Apostles will self destruct. The Dreadnaughts will use their rip gates to shunt energy that should go through the gate to Unity Core through to the Shadow Plane; allowing the rest of the fleet to be unharmed by the noble sacrifice of the engineers aboard those two Apostles. If this action is not deemed necessary, it will not be taken. During the fight, Apostles will attack fighters and other small attack units, Dreadnaughts will redirect massive beam weapons targeting Apostles, and Saggitae will attack hard targets in linked wings of 10.

Taking the Morning Star Station (Fleet 2 action):

Once inside the shadow-Plane, the dreadnaughts from fleet 2 will gate in 5 additional Void Lords, which will begin aggressively harrying the Morning Star Station. They will also be tasked with gathering what information they can and disrupting the defensive programming of the station.

Prime and the Sanguine Lords:

Prime stood on his personal skiff, jet black sword in hand. Behind him stood seven Sanguine Lords, beautiful and terrible. They were his companions, and so would join him as a most honored vanguard. The skiff ducked and wove through the chaotic battle, tearing through the battle with unnatural grace.

Prime could feel the pull of the dragon as the Sword’s ichor pumped through his veins. His will was strong, but he almost did not survive his last joining with the dragon. There was no time to doubt, not any more.

The front of the skiff opened, and Prime was revealed in his dark splendor. His heavy armor was black, faceless, and imposing. The layers of metal were covered in glowing dark red runes that hurt the eye to gaze upon. His four wings of black power unfurled, and he streaked towards the Dragon with the Sword of Prime in hand and with the Sanguine Lords behind him. They would win their way to the Dragon, use it to disable the Morning Star Station and either flee or fight those who would take Unity Core from those to whom it belonged.

Black-Gamma: "So, this is the big mission. End of world kind of stuff."
Red-Alpha: "Yeah..."
Black-Gamma: "I don't suppose many of us will be coming back from this, if we come back at all."
Red-Alpha: "Heavy stuff."
Black-Gamma: "I just want you to know dude, its been an honor to fly with you."
Red-Alpha: "Its been an honor to fly with you as well. Hopefully we'll both get through this. If we do, I'm going to buy you several rounds of drinks. On me."
Black-Gamma: "Thanks man. I've got a few cigars I'm saving up as well."
Red-Alpha: "Looking forward to that."
Black-Gamma: "Can I ask you something?"
Red-Alpha: "Anything, you know that."
Black-Gamma: "If I don't make it back and you do, can you look after my mom for me?"
Red-Alpha: "You can count on it."
Black-Gamma: "And Greger?"
Red-Alpha: "Yeah."
Black-Gamma: "If I make it and you don't... I'll promise to marry your sister and keep her safe."
Red-Alpha: "Carl, I'm going to kick your face in!"
Black-Gamma: "What, she's hot!"

[Beacon City contributes 100 Grex fighters, 100 Jotun Mark 2 fighters, 200 Sagitae, and squadren of Jotun Jarls led by Greger and Carl. They also commit 6 Unity Dreadnaughts, 10 Arcturus Warships, and a Unity Apostle to assist in the allied fleet assault. Judge Grandis will be aboard the "Freedom's Haste" and will be in contact with Su and Prime as they make their way to the Horror Nexus and Unity Core. If their mission seems to be a failure, then a set of 10 Unity Prophets will follow up the Apostle self destruction attacks and consume and convert the remaining pieces of the core. If success seems possible, then the Unity Prophets will be given cover by the fleet and each of the ten will descend upon a Fleet of Fate Mother ship with extermination protocols active.]

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  OrleosSacrenine Fri Aug 12, 2011 7:09 pm

Ever since he has seen the FoF on the screens at Casablanca Station a cloud seemed to loom above the heads of all the people gathered. Stand together or be put into submission by something you couldn't fight, the choice was obvious to all those with half a brain, the only option was to fight.

Using the money that his company had been able to acquire in the time Orleos had been an IRLC, he purchased whatever he could to aid in the coming catastrophe. After the Purifier threat was gone, 300 Stilettos and 300 Aegis Fighters had been ordered to assist Prime and his allies in whatever manner they deemed necessary, all in the hopes of keeping the FoF away from the Unity Core. The fighters would protect Prime as he tried to control the Dragon of Unity, should he be attacked, they would interfere, to buy him time. Prime was the 'King' piece in all this, if he fell, then we all would.

50 unaffiliated Yr ships, purchased through the Blackmarket however would enter later with a different task. 20 would be loaded with Soul Harvesters, 10 of which would be devoted to draining away the souls of the deceased FoF's until they were full, 4 would be devoted to the task of observing the commchannels and finding where a Metatron of Fate was stationed during this catastrophe and aiding in the destruction of it's ship and the recovery of his/her body in order to obtain it's soul.

The last 6 would be watching from afar, eyes fixed on the being known as the Dragon of Unity, should that being fall to whatever forces assailed it, these 6 would be waiting for their chance to obtain the essence that would be left in it's 'corpse'. The remaining 30 ships would divided amongst the ranks, escorting those with Soul Harvesters and watching for the more important Metatron and Dragon charged ships.

After which they were to flee the field once there tasks were complete, each group would report to different locations where they'd be picked up by means of Freighter, then brought back to the company, away from the prying eyes of others.

Post  Palomedes Fri Aug 12, 2011 10:36 pm

Palomedes had sent Ten IR Motherships to create a trap on the far side of Volans. Then he had ordered a Red Star Satellite to Unity Core. If it was needed, the Red Star would be activated to drag FoF Motherships through to the trap. Either Sector General Deer, Stockholder Maehl or Sector General Palomedes can activate it to counter any FoF traps.

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  PresidentRagman Fri Aug 12, 2011 11:08 pm

Ragman knew this was one of those times when he had the advantage of being a sneaky bastard.

Broadacasting to all of the Uloh Free Confederacy, he stated "To all members of the UFC, we will be going to help defend the Unity Core. While I admit that we have had problems with the Trilat in the past, we can not allow the Fleets of Fate to take over the universe. To this end, we will be deploying forces to aid the allied fleets defending the energy bridge to the unity core. We ask that those of you that will not be going with us, Pray to whatever dieties you worship for our safe return."

Then sending a message to the AOD forces on AOD galaxy drive 1, " to the forces of the AOD, just to let you know, we are taking this Galaxy Drive into combat versus the Fleets of Fate working with the Ancient Evil known as the Dragon of Unity. While you may not like me and probably want to kill me, this enemy is attempting to force the entire universe including you into thier hivemind. I know that you work for the Ancient Evil the Creeping Darkness, so we will see if you fight to stop them."

Then turning to his comms officer, he said " All ships, Take the Fleet to the Staging point. As soon as the All clear signal comes in from the unity, we will be taking the fleet in. this is a 'Do or Die' situation. either we stop them or we will die trying."

He then sent a secure message to Captain Axis, "Captain, I will be coming to the fight. If you have any plans that will help, please let us work together."

Next, he sent a message to Lady Ja'celyn, "good luck, my daughter. After you close the wormholes, bring your forces to the battle."

(ooc)-
- The TAskforce under LAdy Ja'celyn will first go to Druzi prime an d attempt to close the wormhole there. When that is either closed or permentently stuck open, her forces will proceed to Sentinal Station 3, and repeat the process. After that wormhole has been dealt with, her forces will come to aid in the fight.

- the rest of uloh's forces will proceed to a staging point, waiting for the all clear after the purifirer. after which they will enter the combat zone. Pirahnas will workon taking out fighter craft and harassing capital ships. Angel's Descent will take up a position outside the energy bridge and use it's fighters to defend it. If necessary, it will use it's wormhole drive to generate one-way wormholes in front of FOF ships to send then into the Blackhole toll route, hopefully to lose them in the blackholes or atleast take them out of the fight.

- Backup plan: If FOF forces are about to enter energy bridge, all available limpets will porceed to enter the energy bridge and target the dragon of unity and Morningstar station with disabler rounds.
IF we can't stop the fleet of fate, then we will make sure that the draon of unity won't be able to help.

- deployed forces:
Angel's descent, the AOD1 galaxy drive, all piranhas, all capital ships except for 1 megaladon. all gunpod will be on defense of capitals. the Saragosa Bombedier will be cloaked on rescue and recovery mission, it will also if the oppertunity arises attempt to land a assault force on a FoF mothership. the assualt force will use collapsible shadow portals to allow assualt reinforcements to enter the ship from Angel's descent.

AOD1 galaxy drive will enter the battle zone and be used as a heavy impedment. If the fight is going badly, the pilot of the AOD1 will use the individual planets in it to crashinto FOF capital ships.

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  FieldMarshallStrykker Sat Aug 13, 2011 12:34 am

The EEF fleet gathered above the North pole of Refuge. Jeremiah watched the plotting screens as the sensor traces and IFF beacons gathered and milled about. It was an impressive fleting considering most of it hadn'
t existed a year ago and all of it had been built by the EEF. He knew it was much smaller than many of the fleets it would fighting along side but he liked to think they made up the numbers in quality and determination.

He was risking much on this mission a huge investment in ships and men. His first instinct had been to leave part of the fleet behind to protect Refuge in case the worst happened, but then it had occured to him that if it did they'd all be pulled into the Fleet of Fate's network so it wouldn't matter anyway.

"All ships have called in and are ready for jump, Sir" informed the comms officer. "No word from Stockholder Meahl yet." He nodded and wondered if just once a year could go by were reality didn't need saving. Oh well maybe next year he chuckled to himself remembering when he'd thought that last year when Warmonger had almost come through the portal over Refuge.

"Sir, signal recieved." Reported the comms officer, the bridge went silent at her words.
"Good," He answered. "Patch me into the fleet."
"All ships this is Field Marshall Strykker. We have recieved the call from our allies. It's time for us to play our part in this fight. You know I'm not one for speeches and I'm not going to make one now. You all know your jobs and you know what is expected of you. The only thing I want to say is that it is an honor to lead you into this. I know that when it's over we will still be here and the Fleets of Fate, whatevers left of them, will regret the day they decided to wander back out of that wormhole. Good hunting. Admiral move the fleet out."

Energy bridges burst open as ships got under way and the EEF fleet went to the fight of its life.

********
Once the all clear signal has been given the fleet will jump into position behind the Fleet of Fate. The 11 City of the Gods class ships of the fleet will form a lose battle line screened by 20 dusk class destoryers and 200 arc light upgraded starfighters. 15 kalino class ships would scatter across the fleet and pour anti nanite and anti-ship and EMP misslies into the Fleet of Fate. The three IR motherships the EEF has will act as carriers and use thier domebusters for fire support. All capital ships will use facade and simalcra to obscure thier postion and numbers. Each ship will also deploy canisters of anti-nanites around themselves to disrupte war frames and consumers. The fleet will assume a very loss formation and techs have worked to make them as hack resistant as possible adding fire walls and cutting off outside access to systems where ever possible.

50 Fireship drones will jump in and attack the nearest enemy ship. Half of them will have anti-nanties while the other half will carry anti ship plasma charges.

10 Gunships towing Auruora Satelites will jump randomly about on the fringe of the FoF ships discharging EMP burts to disable warframes and consumer nanites in order to keep them off the capital ships.

A group of 10 New Vorik shuttles will luanch carrying Colonial Marines and Exorcists. This group will make its way to the morning star station and link up with Unity forces attempting to secure the station.

The Saber Outriders will join up with Blackheart security forces and attemp to take any FoF mothership they are able to.

A wing of 100 arc light gunpods will harry the dragon of unity until it is secured by Prime. If that attempt fails two fire ships carrying nukes will jump in and attempt to enter its mouth before setting off thier payloads in side its body. If the dragon is secured and put under Prime's control these fighters will provide it with support for the rest of the battle.

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  MaehlHoldings Sat Aug 13, 2011 1:04 am

Su reviewed his plans one last time. There were so many small details. While his plan was as good as it could be, it lacked his usual guile. It was a fact that msde him rather uncomfortable.

Su began planning this type of battle months ago. Granted, he presumed it would have be against the Creeping Darkness and not the Fleets of Fate, but sadly the tactics weren't all that different. Thankfully, he was a stockholder now, which meant he could bring together the Universe in a way that he may not have been able to in the past. It was an advantage he was going to take advantage of.

There would be two primary tactical theaters for the Intergalactic Defense Force (IDF) that would be defending the Unity Core.

Theatre 1: The Fleets of Fate
Su's plan was intricate, and demanding absolute coordination between all his allies. For better or worse, his move was first. Choosing three strafing lanes, 3,000 Pirate Light Frigates transported 150,000 Stilettos armed with Anti-Starfighter Disabler Cannons and all of which were sporting Free Systems colors. The Light Frigates would remain well outside the battlefield, awaiting its corresponding squadron for quick shadow - warping in the event they are followed. Three squads would unload their weapons, disabling the Motherships and leaving them ripe for attack.

While Su knew the Purifier would be launching shortly, his Stilettos were faster than the Purifier. Plus, the less of a chance the Fleets of Fate had to hack the Purifier, the better off the IDF would be.

If the Purifer gets hacked, at least Captain Fleshstealer had a sizeable fleet to subdue her. If it proved not enough, One of the strafing squadrons would be called in for support. 50,000 Stilletos and its compliment of 1000 Light Frigates should suffice for that task.

The hardest part would be coordinating the next series of attacks. As the Iron Republic unleashed their cache of MDWs of Alioth soil, it would be Su's job to make sure Unity connected did not engage. All EEF anti-nanite cannons would only be fired into areas not affected by the dispersal.

"Fleetmaster Deer, it appears your plan is working. I ask you, however, to conserve at least half your stores of MDWs. You never know what else might be coming, and the Fleets of Fate might not be our greatest enemy on this field. Be vigilant."

The next phase of the battle would be the Pincer attack. Utilizing the EEF fleets, along with Sora's Free Systems Fleet, his small squad of 100 Alabtrosses and their Nanite Artillery Cannons, using their spreadshots, would help clear the way of warframes. All Unity ships attached to Su's Free Systems would partake in this pincer attack, squeezing the Fleets of Fate and pushing them. towards the Core, where the majority of the IDFs defenses would be located. The Albatrosses would also serve to ensure the Unity ships don't come into contact with Alioth soil as advanced scouts. Once contamination was encountered, they would halt Unity Fleet movement.

As the IDF unloaded on what should be disabled ships, Su, from his comm grid in his office, would coordinate communications. The priority of attack would be first on the initial Purifer salvo, then the unloading of MDWs, followed by this dimension's Fleet of Fate. All other forces would have to accept second pickings. The flanks of the battlefield will be where most other factions not engaging in the Pincer attack will be advised to focus their attacks.

As a secondary force, 20,000 Aegis, armed with one anti star fighter cannon each, will be available to fill in gaps in the attack and or assist Damien in doing the same. These ships will also fly Free Systems colors. While the preference is not to utilize these ships, or any of the original strafing squads, should a group of motherships become functional again, they will be deployed.

The last stand:
If it appears the Fleets will break through, the Free Systems will deploy 100 Heavy Frigates to join in the bloackade. Thier presence will be authorized and checked with Fleetmaster Deer and per Maehl's authorization. In addition, 24 Starcruisers will come into play, followed by 200 Light Pirate Frigates with 1 Million Hornets, who will unload on the oncoming fleets as a last stand. The hornets, piloted by Brethren, will assault the Motherships, suicide bomber style, acting as red herrings against attack and hacking. Finally, if too many ships approached, unleash the Red Satellite Trap.

Su's plan had three x-factors.
1) Captain Axis and the Kasanthians, who were eerily quiet
2) Warmonger
3) Angel D and the Creeping Darkness

The first would have to be played by ear, hoping Axis would deploy his fleet. The latter two were more disconcerting. If Warmonger were to attack, the battle would quickly have a third front. He would direct Captain Axis to this third front, hoping to hold back these forces.

Angel D presented a disturbing problem as she is a member of the Trilat. However, at the sign of treachery all reserve forces woild be called in to attack Angel D. Su would advise Deer to unload Alioth weaponry into her forces. The Free Systems strafing squadrons would do their work against the EStrain. If, due to the Agoh, strafig runs were not possible, standard dog fighting would ensue. An additional Century class frigate, and IR mothership with IR gunpods loaded with Emp missiles would also take the field. Also deployed would be 500 Antates with Helios cannons, 200 machetes, 300 cudgels, and an additional 1500 stilettos with anti fighter cannons. as well as 500 Kingfishers with antifighter cannons. To the extent that it is intact, The Last Stand forces would also be employed.

Hostility would be measured in accordance to the evidence provided by Prime all those months ago, and per communication between Prime, Kasanth, and others.

Those forces not already deployed would flank the Estrain, and encourage the others to do so as well. While we hope the Estrain choose to defend the Core, and not wantonly attack everyone.

Theater 2: The fight against the horror nexus
"Fleetmaster Deer, an allied attack squadron will be infiltrating the Morningsta station. This will include Blackheart Securities, the EEF, the Temporal Empire, and the Unity. I advise that any action taken be against the Mornngstar Station, not the actual Dragon or the Core."

"Friends of the EEF, I heavily advise against action taken against the Dragon of Unity. We are going to take the Horror Nexus, and if both ate subdued destroyed, the Ancient Evil of Unity will be trapped in Hell. Not a good place for it to be. Please divert your forces accordingly and join in our assault of the Horror Nexus."

100 Kingfishers with starfighter cannons, disguised as IR freighters, and 200 tridents will enter the dimension of the core. A cloned copy of Maehl will be leading the expedition. Each drop pod will contain IR brethren with as many alioth rifles that could be requisitioned. other Emp grenades will be employed liberally. They will be in Martian Power Armor. The Tridents will drop pod onto the Morningstar station.

The primary purpose of the ships is to run interferance on the Dragon and the core and focus on the destruction of the horror nexus. 10,000 Da'unhb fighters will serve as the boardong party, following the unity's lead in te invasion of the station. they will be armed with bombs, missiles, anything they can quickly warp in and out with. They will feedon demonic ebergy, helping to weaken the station. Su's IR forces will follow up, taking out targets and disabling traps, as Prime advises about them.

The other 5000 Da'unhb will focus on running interference. One squad will warp the entire IR contingent from the Core to the Morningstar for the allied assault. Su will bark orders to maintain the assault, and trea friendlies as friendlies. While the confusion may be great, hopefully the lacl of orientation and presence of other IR brethren will allay their concerns and proceed accordingly.

When not transporting IR drop troops, they will divert EEF and other forces in the same way, away from the Dragon. If talk doesn't work, teleporting the troops and ships away will.

Su, on the other hand, will focus on one objective - prevent Prime from using the sword on the Dragon. A cloaked Trident will have Su in a drop pod. He will be armed with a grey sonic pistol, a zela sabre, and a standard mach 12 pistol. If Prime approaches, he will be warped by a da'uhnb to the Dragon, whereby all his ships will REALLY be running interference. As a last resort, they will advise that the stockholder is on the dragon, subduing it.

"Prime, I know you have the best of intentions, but it's a really bad idea for you to do this. By using the sword the Ancient Evil will use you as its avatar and will once again rule the Unity. You will cease to be. It has been forseen. I like you too much to let that happen to you and the Unity. Please stop!"

If Prime does not stop, "Prime, please don't do this! I can't let you." (First use charisma, then resort to violence - called shot to the hand containing the sword. If battle wages, a small squad of the da'uhnb will await for the opportunity to steal the sword from prime. If Su dies or loses, the 5000 Da'unhb will attempt, witjh the remainder of the ships, to defeat it and separate Prime from the dragon. If needed, they will warp him to the quuen, once separated.from the dragon, if safe, to consume it. Da'unhb common sense prevails on this one, if they cannot or will not).

OOC - To insert Speaches here later. No actions will be added

Apparently these FoF people were going to do something something, whatever, they are bad and now they are going to be destroyed.

Sending in 1 IR Mothership which will launch its raptors to fire their missiles at the FoF Motherships along with 100 Banking Guild Heavy Frigates. Going after the fighters were 500 Aegis Gunpods and 100 Machetes.
After these ships have engaged the second fleet will arrive. This fleet will consist of 300 Neoflayer Starfighters, 50 Chaos Starfighters following them are 10 Quall Light Frigates, 10 IR Starcruisers, and 20 Quall Destroyers
These ships will wait until all other groups have begun their attack and then when the enemy is busy attack from the side.

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

Post  Damien Sat Aug 13, 2011 2:24 am

"Hey, wait up!" Damien yelled as he ran down the hall, trying to catch up to Lanaedra. She was walking down the hall with another woman, a Captain who's name he couldn't remember.

Lanaedra and the Captain turned back to look for who yelled and, upon seeing it was Damien, stopped and saluted. "Well, there's the plan, Captain Rynaeta. Go on ahead and give the order. Get the fleet ready to go."

"Yes ,ma'am," she said as she saluted again, and turned to walk away.

"Hey, i said wait!" Damien said as he caught up. "That includes you," he added, gesturing to Captain Rynaeta.

"Sir?"

"Captain Rynaeta, huh? First name's Elarissa, right?" he asked as her name came to him. She nodded. "Ok." He looked at the tablet he was holding, pressed a few buttons to pull up the document he wanted, and handed it to Lanaedra. "New orders. We're in command of more ships."

"But your first orders were to send all the ships we had," she responded, looking at the tablet with a confused look on her face. "How do we have command of more?"

"Su Maehl sent us a hell of alot of ships that we're going to be in charge of. He also sent an outline for the plan he wishes us to implement while in battle," he answered as she handed the tablet to Elarissa. "It seems sound, so just go with it." He turned to take the tablet back from Captain Rynaeta, and to talk to her directly. "When you get there, send a message to this Captain Sora Fleshstealer, and one to Su Maehl, and let them know that our forces have arrived and will be operating according to Su's plan. Also, inform Su that you're to follow his order's as though they were given by me. Su know's his plan better than i do, so if something goes wrong, he's the one who's better suited to adjust the plan accordingly."

Captain Rynaeta saluted again. "Yes, sir!" she said, and turned to head toward the hangar.

"Also!" Damien yelled after her.

She turned back. "Yes?"

"Our entire fleet isn't going. Only send 80 of our Cudgel's and all 25 of the Stilleto's. Take Ceylintheos, but don't engage it in battle. That'll be the ship you stay on. Su will issue his orders to you, and you'll issue Su's orders to the rest of the ships under you're command. Do you understand?"

"Under my command? But, i've never commanded a fleet of this size before. I don't think i should be the one to do this," she replied.

Damien walked up to Elarissa and put a hand on her shoulder. "You'll do fine. Trust me. You're more than qualified for this job. Now get going. That fleet's not going to command itself."

"Yes, sir," she responded, and began walking towards the hangar.

"Do you really think she'll be alright, sir?" Lanaedra asked as they watched Elarissa walk away.

He looked down at her. "Oh yeah. She'll be fine."

==========================================================================================================================================================================================================

50,000 Stilettos, all with Anti-starfighter disabler cannons
50,000 Machetes, plasma cannon load outs
10,000 Anteres with Helios Cannons, rigged to hold the Machetes (5 each). I've taken the hornets
50,000 Aegis with anti starfigher disabler cannons (1 each)
3,000 Kingfishers with anti-starfighter disabler cannons
2,000 Pirate Light Frigates
1,000 Albatrosses with nanite artillery cannons
200 Tridents with full missiles
200 Banking Guild Frigates

All the ships above are a Free Systems Armada, and were sent to me by Su Maehl, and will be sent into battle. From my own personal fleet, i'm sending 80 Cudgel Starfighters and 25 Stilleto Starfighters.

I'll be following the same plan that Sora linked to above. As stated in the dialog, if the plan doesn't work, my ships, and the Free Systems Armada i'm commanding, will act according to Su Maehl's orders.

Also, 1 Antares-class Starfreighter, Ceylintheos, will be sent to observe the battle, and is where my Captain will issue orders from. this ship isn't to enter battle.

Post  F.KalMarx Sat Aug 13, 2011 2:43 am

50 AOD Kingfishers will strike quickly from hidden bases on Galaxy Drive 1 to aid Ragman in the destruction of the fleet of fate. Their disablers cannons would be used without regard for friendly targets. The same would be said of 10 AOD Albatrosses with Nanite Artillery. In the event of Alioth soil dispersal the Albatrosses will withdraw.

10 Billion Agoh space jellyfish and Agoleth controlling them. They would drift in from all directions closing the net around the FoF and all allied non TRILAT ships.
The order of targets is
FoF
Allied non-TRILAT ships, but only if a successful attack is made on the FoF.
IR leftovers

Angel D will forgive Ragman and send him home with Galaxy Drive 1 as a present.

All others would die. Shadow Generators would be active. If enough energy flows onto the battlefield Angel D will channel it into a shield to allow her Agoh to escape after their hit and runs.

Post  LeftenantRyuk Sat Aug 13, 2011 2:55 am

Ryuk heard about the Dragon of the unity, and decided to send 15 dreadnaughts and his flagship. They are to drop of 10,000 Giant nighmares and 15 saunguine lords, whose purpose is to capture the dragon and take him for interrogation, and capture the unity core. Both will be separated and sent to different prison planets. If they can't stop the Dragon of the Unity, Ryuk has authorized the Lords to destroy the Unity Core. Capture of both is prefered, but stopping the dragon will be fine.

Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core Empty Re: Week 10 Finale Insurrection Mission- The Defense of Unity Core

The TRILAT Planet Despoiler would be sent in to convert as many FoF Motherships into new Planet Despoilers as possible.

As for the Dragon of Unity and Morning Star Station, no thank you thats Unity internal politics.

Instead Layne Yr would have left standing orders for all Light capital ships to be filled with Vampyrs who can feed on fear. This battle would generate oodles of it. Feed my servants and grow strong, commanded Layne Yr.

She would leave this battle in the capable hands of Captain Axis. He had already proven himself.

If anyone attacked her ships they were to Shadow Jump to the spaceship graveyard and take any allies they deemed worthy.

500 Yrs Starfighters would be assigned roles of escorting allies into and out of the battlezone. Nightmares are unaffected by the Alioth soil, Layne Yr hoped.

Fully know that to defeat an enemy this strong, would ake the combined forces of multiple armies, and the former apprentices of "He how has been disgraced and will not be named" the Kasathian will counter. Amongst his former fleet were a Nightmare Lord vessel and one of the unique fairly new Chrysalis ships. This is a load out meant to take out the Dragon of Unity. The Chyrsalis will fly in as a distraction believe to be the hiding spot of Viggo, while trying to get back in good graces- he's not there, as the ship is fired upon from friendly forces- Laybne yr,'s false wyrms unload with chilling breath the nightmare load vessel shadowjumps in and activates the reality warp weapon over the dragon, lond enough for the Chyrsalis to unload a the planetary seed into the dragon.
