Week 9 - An Enemy for Life
The Energy Bridge to the plane of awareness flowed in shadows as it swirled. The Ship exited, closing the bridge behind and landing on the private landing pad of Orleos Sacrenine. Hidden by the house, it allowed special deliveries such as these to be safely delivered.
Orleos waited with glee, alongside Zedar Moonbeam, a cultist of Le-A Hivequeen.
They had a truly special delivery this early in the morning.
The back of the starfreighter opened with a hissing noise, revealing an ugly scarred Uthvelor who was missing and arm. He nodded at Orleos, "You must be the buyer, we got your samples. Just keep them muzzled or they will kill everyone here."
Orleos bowed respectfully, about to introduce himself when Mr. Took said, "No names, Mr. Took survived I'tash, the Border Wars and the death squads, No names keeps everyone safe."
"Then I am your employer, how is...the packages?" asked Orleos with glee.
Mr. Took signalled the rest of the men who walked out presenting three Tsogari shapeshifting priests on gurneys strapped down and muzzled but completely aware.
"Drugs don't work on them so keep an eye out," whispered Mr. Took as he walked by.
Then seven kennels were carried out with a whole pack of Tsoga who were asleep and obviously drugged.
"The Tsoga are a bit easier, they are common animals. Smart, strong, but animals can be handled," said Mr. Took with a malicious grin.
Suddenly one of the Tsoga shapeshifted into a silver humanoid creature with a mask-like face of a Wolf-like creature, "No Luck here Orloes Sacrenine, the Tsogari know you hunted us and we will not be stopped."
The guards began to shoot at the K'ias. It seemed to die, flowing into a puddle and dripping down into the drains on the side of the landing pad. When they went to collect the rest of it, it seemed there were only a few splashes of silvery K'ias blood was there. As if the majority of the body had simply flowed away.
Orleos was haunted by the words of the K'ias. Did he mean the K'ias were coming for him, did it mean the Cult of the Tsoga was coming for him?
