Sorry I haven't been up to snuff lately people, but with final exams and foot LAZAH surgery looming in the coming week(s). I'm kind of a nervous wreck. Will have the mission event up by this coming week.

SORRY!
A combination of stupidity, laziness, college and surgical worries, and losing internet because the damned departments of internet providers don't talk to one another is responsible for the lateness. Mostly my fault, but I'm gonna spread the blame as much as I can to feel better!

Re: Watercooler Chat
I noticed you were trying to sneak one by me. You may notice, I could not allow such a thing.
Incidentally, sorry about my absence everyone! My vacation left me bereft of an internet connection. Thankfully, this semester is MUCH lighter than the last one. So, expect some missions in the near future...

I'll also try and stop in more often. Kids are past the midterms and I can finally focus on some fun.

Lol, No thanks needed, I am in a place where RPG'ing is arguably as taboo as lighting ones farts on fire. I am really glad everyone is hopping back on, I was afraid there would be no desire and I would need to satisfy my cravings by starting but never finishing DR fanfic.

Depends, do they end or do they sputter out before you reach the end?

Where is my jolly roger? Where is pillaging for fun? Where is my CPT sparrow? Where have all the Pirates gone?
Bonus points if read the title the second time you hear the song I am parodying.
I figured since we are all posting intermittently I would throw in a new topic.
What happened to the truly independent pirate/privateer/smuggler/courier shot in the head with amnesia? Really the question is where are the adventurers? Its hard for me at least to conceptualize (In the space game the way it is) how one goes from barely functional sociopath with delusions of grandeur to adventurer in the space campaign.
Well besides EEF space (Which with its mix of springshots and space ships feels kinda like fire fly...EPIC), and the K-fed (I envision a Queens court of breathtakingly petty feudal lords, if I am wrong please correct me).
Pretty much every faction (Including mine...I will be fixing that by the time any one reads this) has their corner of space on such insane lock down that it feels like there are no pirates/adventurers.
That kinda feels wrong. I know running space campaign its hard to see it. The Iron Republic did what the Star Wars Empire couldn't and effectively squashed piracy. The Free systems doesn't seem to have any (How free are they if all of its people are in lock step like that?). Unless there are rogue hackers inside the unity I dunno how a Unity campaign would even look (Prime help me out with that one). I'm not exactly sure what an AoD campaign would look like either...
Obviously there are the mentioned anarchic Brethren Space and the chameleon sector, but is adventuring really either state sanctioned or marginalized? Obviously for me this will be a "Put your money where your mouth is...and as a result lose money" but I would honestly prefer that people be able to play a Fort Lendill campaign without having to recite the Julian day number of mantras of the divine leader (Not that its wrong for them to want to do that).
