Gold- 10 Tons
Wood- 2,000 Tons

Re: Week 3 - Resource Stockpile
The 500 pounds of Zela will be shipped to Beacon City, fashioned into a spearhead, and fastened onto a gigantic metal shaft. The enormous spear will be guarded by the Colossus of Beacon City, which may choose to wield the spear. Nanite-sized homing beacons will be melded with the metal so that any 1/8 inch by 1/8 inch block should be traceable.

Re: Week 3 - Resource Stockpile
The three Kasanthian youths trudged into the chamber, covered in travel grime. Oleifera hoped that perhaps a couple weeks of hard work had improved their dispositions.
"We found a huge vein of Zela metal on the southern continent, in the main mountain range." Sandy reported. "Where shall the metal be stockpiled?"
Oleifera thought for a second. If this metal was as rare as these three claimed, it would need some measure of safety. Somewhere... difficult to get to.
"Send it to John 13. Break it up into 50lb loads, and distribute it throughout the station. If it is incorporated into the hull structure it will at least give any marauders a headache and it will not be lost all at once. This one will also make small guard choates for each deposit, which will patrol each area and report immediately if there is an attempt to remove the Zela."

The CFO of Blackheart Industries passed Childeen the paper. "It seems your friends in the Cult of the Horned Dog left us an Easter egg." She said smiling.
Childeen glanced at the paper and then did a double take, "This has been verified?" He asked in disbelief.
Akrea nodded and pulled out some photos. "Yes, 10,000 tons of Iron, already smelt in the Magma Refining plant's warehouse on Conflagros."
Childeen sat back. "Legal has cleared us keeping it?"
Akrea nodded, "Yes, the hive queen just pulled out her people and key equipment, everything else was abandoned. Though the Hive Queen can fight it I see no reason why she would. Plenty more Iron on Krypos if the lore is correct."
Childeen nodded. "Ok, We hold onto most of it for a rainy day, use some of it to make sure Conflagros remains profitable through the start up."

Hive Queen Ar'Yay was pleased when she was inspecting her new underground storage facility, over 2 miles underground and dozens of traps to prevent break ins. Some traps even would flood halls and rooms with magma to consume any would be thieves. Now 10 tons of Gold sparkling along with the dozens of fire artifacts and sculptures that were treasured by the Hive. Numerous written volumes, histories and creative stories along with new paintings would be safeguarded for the near future.

The Zela will be stored in Prime's private lab, and will be processed into the alloys which will allow him to stretch the use of the metal. As an item in Prime's lab, it is incredibly well guarded and always under watchful eyes...

Re: Week 3 - Resource Stockpile
Paperwork paperwork paperwork, all of it littered his desk. Invoices, battle reports, progress from the manufacturing plants, updates on genetic projects. If he could have someone answer them all he would but micromanagement often caused more problems than it solved. Still it was tempting!
Mor'aye'ahn looked over paperwork and did his best to absorb all the information he could, knowing full well that his inbox would always be full. Half-way down the page of the proposal to upgrade the plumbing for all carriers in his fleet the blue light of the holo-projector began to flicker to life. "Sir the bridge has received word of our mining operations in the belt. It seems we struck Copper... isn't that wonderful?"
Half paying attention Mor'aye'ahn just looked at the paper "Yes Charlie wonderful."
There was a long pause "The crews are requesting orders on what to do with the surplus... there appears to be a substantial amount."
Another long pause followed until the paper was placed down and a note of approval was added. "A surplus is only a surplus until it is used. And given our rate of growth and expansion it won't last very long." He rolled up the paperwork and placed it in a tube for transportation. Once he placed it in the "out" tube he looked at Charlie who was still just floating there waiting for a decision. "Oh fine. As it is a surplus we shall save it for dire emergencies. Send it back to the home world and tell the acting prime minister to Stash it away. We shall stockpile a future percentage in case of unforeseen emergencies and shortages. Is that enough of a decision to make the mining crews happy?"
"Yes sir... oh and sir there is a buried report of Unity forces going into Fort Lendill space."
With a low growl Mor'aye'ahn began frantically digging through the paperwork "Problems problems problems!"

Ragman feeling that there need to be a way to help ease the anxiety of space travel came up with the plan to transplant several thousand trees into a specially prepared underround chamber on the Angel's Descent. In the Arboretum, he has a wide variety of hard and soft woods. they are tended by a team of expert botonists. This gives them a excellent supply of woods to choose from. he is looking to add some of the rare tress type from the Far Shores in the near future.
there is a number of small arboreal creature living in the arboretum.

Iron. Such an ironic word. The need for iron gave birth to Republic Iron, the greatest corporation in the universe. Su needed iron. Not just the material resource, but the corporation too. Irony, in its worst form.
Su's team began an intensive recycling program. His Carrion freighters combed the universe, collecting these resources for the hopes of being able to create a stockpile. A back up. Something Su was ardently against. Yet his development team advised him that he should have no less than a few thousand tons of iron, aluminum, and other raw materials in the event his fleet came under attack they needed iron to rebuild his entire merchant fleet. Su breathed in, hating how his team had a point that he had not first forseen.
10,000 tons of iron. That what his team was able to recycle and gather from all corners of the Polar Expanse. His Carrion Freighters did their job. As did his research efforts in recycling, as did his partners at Flag Staff Inc. One problem remained; where does one put that much iron? Where does one put that much of anything? Either the safest place in the universe, or somewhere where nobody will expect it. He did both. His home base on Esiroh 6. It was the busiest Iron Republic Space hub in the region. There are hundreds of Iron Republic military and non-miltary vessels everywhere. Lots of prying eyes, Iron Republic military, his personal fleet, Free Systems agents. He didn't want to attract too much attention, so it was disbursed throughout his vast complex on the planet, not just all in one place. Not overly defended, but not open for the taking either. Just as with most of his complex, the silos were rigged with nerve gas that would incapacitate intruders until they could be extracted. While it wouldn't protect from nightmares or the Quall, all other creatures should be affected. Enough so that a Brethren team could go in and handle the criminal element.
Su didn't like leaving stockpiles anywhere, but at least from here it could go anywhere else in his network without attracting too many suspicious eyes. At least he hoped. Su sighed to himself as he arranged for the shipments and the defenses.
