Reward for Education of your Colonies

Any Independent Corporation Players who took part in this planetary investment mission will gain .025 Million citizens at a new settlement on one of their own planets (it can be a planet or moonbase they share). They must name the planet they add the settlement to and describe the settlement they are constructing on this thread.

The Cryptodome on Conflagros is where the population is heading. The dome was a normal dome until it was swept up in a lava flow. The Dome was covered in a thick layer of obsidian. The dome switched to geothermal instead of solar. The inside of the dome instead of showing the bleak outside or a standard generically happy environment, shows a mixture of news cultural programs (plays, operas, comedians etc) and educational programs (Aimed primarily at adults).

Though its an industrial colony and requires mainly menial labor the colony will serve as a feeder for Blackheart securities. Blackheart securities will now only hire war veterans from professional militaries/militias (Planetary militias that saw action count, from any faction besides the Unity) the children of blackheart employees who utilize Blackheart Securities education benefits and show ambition, and people who get promoted up from the low level positions due to their merits and ambition.

Su Maehl's bloodshot eyes were staring at the paperwork at his desk. He had been up all day trying to figure out the new business deals he was making across the galaxy. The last thing he was doing for the day was finalizing the plans for construction on Henner 12.

Education, art, ecology. Those were the markets for Henner 12. His recent research into those three areas paid off. His PR team worked into overdrive, gathering resources and people to make his dreams come to fruition. He had gathered enough resources to began the first phase of development on the planet, which was it's educational center. Flag Staff would design the infrastructure, but he had some of the best Free Systems architects work on the design. They'd build an educational complex that hasn't been seen on this side of the galaxy. It would be for the arts, in all it's forms. It would bring in thousands upon thousands of people to the planet. Theatres and museums would be built. Concert halls and galleries. Restaurants serving food from all corners of the Polar Expanse. These people would generate revenue, and continue to develop the other parts of the economy on the planet. Which would help phase two, tourism. People want to see great art, and they'd need hotels, plazas, and other amenities. In addition, it would help develop local militia and training. Flag Staff Inc said they'd train the land troops, and he was going to give them the people to do so.

Phase three could wait, but he gathered that the new construction would suffice to bring in about 2500 people in the short term. It was a start, and 2.5% increase in current population. It was a nice, healthy start. His plans anticipate a quadrupling of the planet's current, permanent, population, so he was well on his way.

Pursuant to Terra Nova Industries agreement with the EEF, its' new employees and their families will be temporarily settled outside of the undisclosed colony needing rebuilding. Once there, Terra Nova Industries will establish its first Academy of Applied Technologies and Sciences. The Academy will be free for all employee relations and local residents while Terra Nova Employees undergo orientation and training. Once up to Terra Nova Industries standards the new employees will either begin to help with the rebuilding efforts, be sent to work at the Terranovsky Forge or sent to a number of job sites or R&D labs.

The TNI Academy will focus on using each students interests and strengths to guide them into their ultimate fields of expertise while also providing a well rounded classical education. Physical and ethical intelligences will be encouraged as well as intellectual, emotional, behavioral and social intelligences.

Each student will also take part in group think scenario solving and real world problem analysis which will actually be utilized by Terra Nova Industries. Especially gifted students will be given access to (isolated) pieces of Terra Nova Industries R&D projects and will be challenged to either come up with new/different solutions or to find errors in current projects.
