There are other ships in the revised EEF guide and Border Wars Aftermath but the classifications on the class of vessel they are is a little foggy. A majority are labeled as capital ships but not light medium or heavy.

actually, I think that this would be a better way to do it.
Each person goes through the PDFs, noting where each vehicle and ship is. Just like you where doing your own, except on a pdf basis. there are 20 PDFs, so it wouldn't be bad to break them up that way. This will also allow us to know which ones to search through, if we have to search ourselves.
AS for the stuff in the books, I am currently more concerned with the space campaign stuff, but that would go in the db later. At that time, Clarification would be asked, but that is going to be a while, because the data entry is a pain.

Index of Items
Hey folks,
For my own sanity, I created a list of most all ships, weapons, striders, power armor, upgrades, space stations, vehicle upgrades and/or weapons, and "other" that might pertain to Space Wars. The link is to my DropBox account, FYI. If you have problems with it, let me know.
Space Wars Items List V1

-First Row is Frozen, so it doesn't scroll
-Auto-Filter enabled, so that you can filter out just the desired faction, Item type, or location of the item (i.e. DR Core book)
-Fully Sortable however you wish
-Shows the Item name, Item type (i.e. Space Station), Faction (i.e. Iron Republic), Blackmarket price (ghaz), IR price (credits only), Faction Price (ghaz), location and page

About the Items List
Ok, so I created this list, and spent a lot of time and energy into it. However, it is not perfect, nor comprehensive.
What this list is:
A list of items, prices, and locations
What this list is not:
A description of these items. That would have been entirely too time consuming, would have too many variables, and would have been a copyright disaster. Plus, my goal was to create a price list for the banking guild, so mission accomplished
What I left out:
Things that were too complex to categorize, in my sole and exclusive opinion
Oleifera items (see above)
SUARM stuff (see above)
Many Beacon City items (not sure if striders, def platforms, or something else)
Most Non-space vehicles (I included certain faction-specific ones, but by and large left them out)
San Martin specific items (as they are not generally available)
Certain defensive placements/items that weren't easily categorized with or by "defensive platform"
and probably most glaringly:
Troop Weapons, because there were too damn many
I also did not include certain drones and/or troop types that can be used in space (i.e Praetorians). I encourage others to create an index of troop types, character sheets/character upgrades, and standard weaponry.
My primary request of ALL players:
Review the Item list, making sure that I categorized your item appropriately. I am most likely to have erred on the difference between a Living Vessel and any other ship type. Since this list is sortable, it should be easy for you to review.
Discussion regarding my classifications:
First, I wanted to make the classification usable, despite the fact that a large number of items don't fit neatly into a category (most of the time it was purposeful by your parts). Thus I prioritized the following:
For starfighters, does it fit into a docking bay? If so, how many slots does it take? Answer: it takes either 1 slot, 2 slots, or does not fit. Hence SF1, SF2, SF3
For Freighters, does it fit into a docking bay (specifically of a heavy frigate, which is designed to dock them, not at a space port)? Freighter 1 fits, Freighter 2 does not. Freighter 2 spans the gamut of medium to huge, but other than capacity and maybe weapon slots, there isn't too much of a discrepency between them. Not like capital ships, at least. However, if people want to distinguish between a vespidae, antares, carrion, and others, we can discuss what that would mean.
For Capital Ships: this was the trickiest one, especially since this designation didn't always exist in the past. So I used the following criteria to determine how, if at all, a designation should be assigned:
1) How many people does it fit?
2) How many ships does it fit?
3) How fast is the ship?
4) How heavily armored is the ship?
5) How is the ship armed?
Priority determination is size. 1000+ crew, 100+ ships is super capital. 700+ crew, 70 + ships is heavy. 300+ crew, 20 + ships is medium, 20 + crew, 10 or so ships is light. As these numbers vary, I also take into consideration speed: 20 - Light, 14 - 20 Medium, 10-13 heavy, anything slower is Super Capital. Again, as there is much variance, Armor: 700+ Super Heavy, 500+ Heavy, 200+ Medium, Everything else Light. The final designator was how heavily armed was the ship. Light is either for anti-capital ship bombing or anti-fighter bombing. Medium tends to be anti-fighter/anti-frieghter. Heavy is for all types of damage, especially orbital bombardments. Super Heavies should be feared for their firepower.
For Striders:
I did not designate if the strider was space-ready or not. That's the players responsibilty to figure out. I cared if it was vertical, horizonal, and mammoth. All strider 1s, even if some are bigger than Strider 2s, are vertical. Again, the purpose was for determining dockability. If I labelled a Strider1 that cannot be docked as a Strider 1 for any reason, please let me know and we can change the designation to either 2 or 3. Twos are horizontal, and thus take more space, but the presumption is that it would need different docking mechanisms. Threes are not dockable and are mini-capital ships themselves.
N/A Pricing - means it's either priceless or not available for sale. If you own a product that you want to be able to sell. Please contact admin and he'll determine the price.
How to adjust the worksheet:
Post changes here by copying/pasting the row of text to a new post on this thread. I will amend the spreadsheet accordingly and advise with a new version change. I will do so weekly (RL). Please post separately what is and what is not up for discussion (i.e. I wonder if ___ is medium vs. large) and what is not (the ONS is a living ship). Admin makes all final determinations if I have my doubts. Since I will only be doing updates weekly (as per Fridays), feel free to edit your post as many times as required before the Friday in question. Any other questions, comments, or concerns can either be posted here, PMd to me. If there is dispute, I defer to admin.
For any entries that are lacking:
Please put the entries in a spreadsheet using the format of the Item List, Excel 97 and earlier format, and email to Group2. He will forward them to me for further editing and placement into the spreadsheet list. He will do so only once a week. Feel free to post here as text in the interim, in case people want to reference in the short term.
Again, my work was a labor of love, please no negative comments regarding my methods, presentation, and what I did or did not include. I encourage anyone with ideas, improvements, or better formats to do them accordingly. I can host any files accordingly, until such a time when Admin does so formally.

If you visit my research thread you will find all the Beacon City gear that I've been using is listed with blackmarket prices and page references included. Things like frost generators, hearts of the forgotten, and nephilim giants might still be relevant as I've been using them a lot.

very true Bloom Ships are mediums.
A few other corrections Red Stars are Satellites and count as VPDs on the character sheet (not a space station)
Red Fists should be listed as Striders (or power armor either is fine it walks that fine line)
Thanks from all of us for this wonderful reference. I think it will be very helpful to everyone.
