A request for admittance into the Independence Corporations

Greetings all,

I am Ryuk, and I am requesting admittance into the independent corporations. I have set up a fairly successful Casino, and intend to keep upgrading its facilities. I am looking to join to aid in running the business of my Casino. I have strive to keep my Casino independent of any and all faction biased, and it is open to everyone, given very stringent rules. It is for benefiting my Casino, and any business ventures I create, That I ask to join.

As you may know I am a member of the Unity, and a Leftenant in the Kansantian Federation. I will not be renouncing any of these loyalties, as they cover different facets of my activities. My businesses will be run under the Independent Corporations, and my warfare capabilities and military actions will be run through my other loyalties.

This would mean that I would generally not aid you militarily, unless there are no other conflicts of interest. As this is a primarily business group, I don't think this will be a big issue.

I would like to work on joining, and being somewhat familiar with businesses I am expecting that there is a list of rules to follow, and a charter of some sort. I would like to look at these, if someone could forward them to me, I would appreciate it.

One of the biggest stumbling block I can forsee is you getting and retaining IRLC status, which requires you not to be associated with military attacks against the IR or organization s the IR lists as being terrorist in nature.
However as I said your case is being reviewed and we will likely have further questions for you.

Dear Ryuk,

Although I am not the chair or vice-chair of the Independent Corporations' Council, there are several things I would be interested in knowing in order to approve any new admissions to the council:

1) What services does your corporation provide to clients?
2) How do these serves differ from the services currently offered by the member corporations?
3) For each territory throughout the Polar Expanse, how is the manner in which you conduct business considered legal or illegal?
4) How do you currently generate revenue?
5) What is your business growth trajectory?
6) How do you anticipate this trajectory to be affected by your inclusion to this council and/or association?

I think half the activities I arrange are considered terroristic and opportunistic. In fact, I am labeled a warcriminal by the Iron Republic. I am trying to separate my business and my other activities, and I don't know enough about running a business to make the distinctions myself. The Independent corporations is all about running businesses, and setting my business under this group seems like the thing to do.

I have been running my casino as an independent entity, where everyone is welcome to come. I have seen mainly members of the TRILAT, but every so often members of other factions appear to enjoy themselves. This is the part of my activities that I want to join your group.

1. I provide entertainment to my clients, a way to get away from the horrors of war. There aren't any that I know of out here in space.
2. As far as I can tell, none of your corporations run entertainment facilities. I spoke with someone from Casablanca Station about arranging tours to my casino, but I haven't heard the proposal back.
3. I don't know, I am not good with politics.
4. People insert coin into slots, and lose coin because they did not get right combination. HAve bookies work up bets on battles in spaces, like with Admiral Layne yr and the fort lendill dude.

I have talked exhaustively with the legal department and with our Iron Republic Liasons. You would need to renounce your ties with Unity and Kasanthian Federation before we can look at your application. You would need each member of the IR Board of directors to sign off on you receiving IRLC status to override this rule.

I'm sorry but we cannot at this time admit you into Independent Corporations.

I'm sorry about the council's rejection. However, I do see that you're in desperate need of business expertise. While you may not be eligible for inclusion, it doesn't mean that you can't be serviced.

I want to help you, for it appears by the answers you gave me that you have been successful despite yourself. I want to change that and turn your casino into a successful venture. I warn you, however, I don't come cheap.

First I'll need to do a full assessment of your earnings and operation, which requires all access passes to your operation. I can then do a needs assessment, figure out why needs to be done to separate the various parts of your operation, and we can maximize operational earning and income. There is, however, a catch. If I offer you any actual assistence, beyond a simple review, I get 30 percent of all net profits. Furthermore, my companies get automatic bidding rights on all contracts. I know its not cheap, but I've never done wrong by a client and I've always shown marked improvement for all of my clients.
