Week 2 Recover: Scavenging Starships from the Spaceship Graveyard (EEFFieldMarshalStrykkyer & ZaodonaiCelyse & Friends vs TRILAT)

Since the Kasanthian Federation took over the Spaceship Graveyard they have been sending in teams of Vul's Dead to capture and convert Undead Spacers to their own service.
Many Undead still wander free and do violence on all who enter the Spaceship graveyard as they have for as long as people can remember. Armed with energy cannons able to pierce the hulls of most ships they also have excellent aim.
How do you help or hinder the efforts of Jeremiah and Celyse's raid into the SpaceShip Graveyard to recover the ship hulls that will form the Uth Doom fleet.

There are 500 Undead Spacers prowling the Spaceship Graveyard in the area they will be reaching. Every hour they are in the Spaceship Graveyard another 500 are drawn to the site of the insertion team. (each day real time corresponds to 1 hour of team insertion)
For Celyse and Jeremiah's team the goal is to set forth the parameters for the types of ships they are looking to salvage, and how they will take those large ship hulls out of the Spaceship graveyard under constant cannon and missile fire from Undead Spacers.

This mission is open to Trilat Players. It is also open to FieldMarshalStrykker, ZaodoniCelyse, or anyone that those two invite to join in their mission to the Spaceship Graveyard.

Be specific about troop numbers sent in and tactics used.

You are encouraged to set up threads in your own factions to discuss this matter.

First a Gunpod squadron will air drop healing mist stones all over the graveyard. The EEF will move in to the graveyard and set a perimeter using detour shields and healing mist stones to keep the undead away. Ground forces (RCT 1 supported by three squads of VLAD striders will hold this line.) This line will also support the Uth. The first gunpod squadron will be joined by two more (36 fighters) and provide a CAP for the salvage ops.

Once that is set up four Dumbar class salvage ships(upgraded with detour shields) will move in and set about salvage operations. 10 squads of colonial marines(armed with lasers) will be tasked with clearing out the ships each squad will be suppoted by 4 healers to help clear out undead. Once cleared ships with able drives will jump back to Refuge the others will be carried by the salvage ships. Ten work crews will be loaned to the uth to help them salvage ships as well.
Salvage targets: 4 battleships 2 carriers 4 gunships.

I will take my new duskan class destroyer, the Lion's claws and set up over watch. The tech teams, and the security element will descend to a cleared LZ. They will organize and then push to the nearest massive bulk fueler using the guns on the Lions claws to provide "danger close" artillery. Another two squads of lions will be waiting in AAVs to act as a quick reaction force.

All lions will be in full space suits. The plan is to clear the ship and restore the the ships shadowdrive bring it back into space in the draco constellation and have the Lions Pride tow them to the nearest ship yard.

Half the techs and security will remain on board the freighter. The other half will work to liberate heavy/super heavy capital warship and do the same bring it into real space in the same area and have two of my freighters tow it to be repaired.

Layne Yr was surrounded by child-sized Nightmares. A good twenty of them surrounded her, in her stunning pumpkin colored bodice and matching thigh high boots. She even held a little plastic pumpkin in her hand, like one children once used for trick or treating.
She held a remote control in her hand, a big blocky, boxy piece of plastic.
Each of its oversized buttons had a different location written on it.
Each of the Nightmares had an Eyespy viewer, much like a 2D television screen set inside their heads. Layne Yr was flicking through channels, watching battles and wars, and a single Eyespy seeing a beautiful sandy beach (that one was at Reclamation Citadel 1).

The channel she was paying attention to showed the Spaceship graveyard, and EEF forces moving through it.

Layne Yr pulled down a huge commcrystal the size of a disco ball, and spoke loudly into it. Her words would get projected from altered Nightmares stationed around the Spaceship graveyard.

"Forces of the EEF,
Though you tresspass without any communication across territory annexed by the Kasanthian Federation.
Though you trod upon ground which was fought for and won over a year ago by the Kasanthian Federation.
Though you walk with guns drawn into an area where our forces could potentially converge in violence,
Despite all these things, in light of them, in fact, I, Grand Admiral Layne Yr of the Kasanthian Federation order a summary withdrawl of all Kasanthian Federation forces from the region of the Plane of Awareness that you are visiting.
We are NOT giving you endless access to the Spaceship Graveyard, nor are we allowing the EEF or any others a Beach-head here.
But we also do not desire war with the EEF.

You have 48 hours Refuge time in which to do you salvage operations.
I will send you a bill for the cost of the salvage you are taking based on 10% of the total original cost of the vessels involve.
If you pay this bill, then we shall consider it a step towards further peace between our great Nations.
If you do not we will consider the EEF uninterested in further peace talks."

Layne Yr let go and the disco ball whipped up to the ceiling.
She lifted another smaller commcrystal from her little pumpkin.

It was highly encrypted and ONLY went to Kasanthian Federation members.

She said "Lliw Uoy Sa Od"

Celyse listened to the announcement in silence from the shadows. The uth woman waited patiently for the other to finish her speech before stepping forward, crushing a skull beneath her foot with a hollow crunch.

“I must confess, Kasanthian leader,” she spoke. “I find it curious you would claim a zone within the homeland of the uthvelor and palebor as your own.” She inclined her head, her face expressionless as usual as she surveyed the land with dull gray eyes.

“The EEF are here because I invited them. They are guests in our lands, as you have been. Do not mistake our tolerance for your presence as proof of ownership, Kasanthian. My people were born in this plane and have lived as the dominant race for thousands of years, your armies and claims will not change this.”

“If you are not satisfied by our proclamation of territory, I invite you to send your bill to our lord Azriel. I warn you, however, he will not be nearly as patient with this issue as I have been.”


//Along with Celyse, 200 uthvelor foot soldiers and 50 wyrm riders will be sent to assist the EEF troops in securing the area and gathering parts and ships in hopes of obtaining as many battleships as possible for the future Uthvelor Doom Fleet

The apprentices of the Nykosa 9 foundry are out salvaging pieces that might be useful to their own work. They have come heavily obscured and carry precautionary light leyas weaponry. They are here exploring, fully know that the IR is bring war to their doorstep. Everything here is in a sense precautionary.

They have their tools and mining equipment, of which all of them have become quite adapt when using. They will hollow out the spaces of ships within the desired space, and fill them with a giant nightmare just waiting for the trap to be set. It will be too late, the light leyas will facade the interiors, that the enemy troops are walking right within the maw of these nightmares. Any sign would already be too deep within the creature. The Apprentices are becoming such good little Kasanthians.

In addition they also have some toys granted to them by the Master Armorer himself, Viggo the Kasathian. These are toys that have been passed from the join members of the Trilat, such as the coordinates of the materials desired by the Uth Velor Warchief and Field Marshal as been by the Oracles of Captain Axis and dirty bombs that with erupt magma from the volcanoes of Nykosa 9 when those specific materials are moved. And yet the apprentices are still just mining, salvaging and off having a good time, but any that get too close will notice that each have had a toe nawed off, just in case something bad should happen while they are away vacationing. They even left their little nightmare slaves home, looking over the breeding pits because it doesn't need to be known that they are now Kasanthians.

As I heard about the EEF in TRILAT territory, I was dismayed and unhappy. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO STEAL AND ABSCOND WITH EQUIPMENT BESIDES ME! I Can't have anyone stealing my thunder . . . . After much contemplation , I came up with an idea.

I changed into my armour, and wandered down into the rougher parts of my casino, and Announce recruitment for a special event! It is called Ryuk Rabble's Romp!

Rules:

Points are scored based on the person who gets the kill shot.
Killing members of the TRILAT will cause you to loose points.
No weapons of mass destruction allowed, We want the ship to be somewhat salvageable.

Participants are not allowed to make bets on this event!


Scoring is as such!

1 point for an individual soldier.
3 points for an officer.
10 points for a small ship or vehicle.
25 for a capital ship.
-5 for killing a TRILAT member (yes that is a negative we will subtract 5 points for that)

in addition there are some bonuses eligible for everyone:
5 Ghaz survivor Bonus (you were not resurrected during the game, and you have one kill)
1 Ghaz per officer
1 Ghaz per 10 soldiers
10 Ghaz per vehicle or small ship
50 Ghaz per capital ship

We may have a special guest judge, if not the computer will keep track and tally scores!
Headcams will be provided , and be required to be worn during the match.

With the gathering of the contestants done, I gave the coordinates and sent them off. With little time to spare, I gave orders to
the workers of my ship to set up leaderboards, and gave the contestants information to the bookies, so they can start preparing to take
bets.

With that being done, I sit back and think , what ever happens , it is at least going to be interesting!

In the wake of Admiral Yr's announcement General Gifford (RCT 1 commanding) glanced around uneasily. As if this mission wasn't bad enough just for being in this God forsaken place now the Kasanthians were were feeling frisky. Prefect.
The bleak surroundings and derelict ships as far as the eye could see didn't do much to improve his mood either. Seemed rather presumptuous to him as well not only was it Uth land but most of these ships had been lost by the old Earther Authority. If anything they were taking back their property. Still the deployment was going well so far he told himself and, surprisingly he found the Uth Zaodonai's response somewhat reassuring.

"General," his aid Jenkens called as he trotted up and saluted. "All elements have reported in, so far so good and the gunpods are forming the CAP with the Uth wyrmriders. But, alot of the men are pretty nervous and getting jumpy. I'm worried about friendly fire." Gifford nodded.

"Yes I'm concerned myself." the General replied. "This interest the Kasanthians are taking is troubling to. I'm issuing new orders. The boarding parties will act in tandem and all ships will be reconned by fire with laser or light and healing stones before anyone enters them. No one goes anywhere alone and all squads are to maintain visual contact with at least one other squad at all times. Rely that to battalions I'm going to call back to H.Q and see if we can get some back up if we need it."

If any hostile action is taken against the salvage parties RCT 3 and 5 will be temporarily pulled from the boarder and enter the plan of awareness to reinforce the security line which will fight from inside the healing mist envelope. The fleet will also react. Four Dusk class Destroyers will escort three City of the God class ships and three Chooru class battleships. Their fighter and drone compliments will provide close air support and their guns will provide artillery support as needed. The line will be held until all targeted ships are recovered. Once that is done the ground forces will withdraw under cover from the fighters and capital ships New Vorik assault shuttles will evac the wounded (EEF and Uth) as needed. A wing of Missile pod and Hunter/killer (25 of each)drones will transit to above the spaceship grave yard and engage any hostile forces to cover the withdraw of the ground forces and the fleet and will jump out once the salvage op is at a safe distance.
