Kasanthian Missile Ships have been spotted near the moon of Druzi 2, the've delivered parts for an orbital gun that could target the Fire Dome City of Druzi Prime. They've hidden five such orbital guns throughout the ravines of Druzi 2. They are each defended by seven Enslaved Nightmares with Chill Cannons, and two Giant Nightmares armed with Chill Cannons, and Vampiric Cannons on Anti-Air mounts.
They carry with them a pair of Leyas Generators.

What is your plan?
Post it here with actual numbers of troops, ships etc and your plan for either assisting the guns or destroying the guns.

Open to all Factions.

The Ravines of Druzi 2 are deep and hard to traverse. Large vehicles cannot enter them. Small aircraft and light power armor could however.
This mission will have all actions locked in by 11pm EST on Friday March 4th, and only actions posted here will count.

I will shadow jump in one of my Behemoth Asteroid-Warships supported by twenty Yrs Starfighters. They will hold back, and only attack actual Starcruisers and Frigates trying to bombard any of the Warship sites.
There will be five Nightmare Missile Ships each with a escort of five Yrs Starfighters. They will be waiting in the plane of Awareness in a hidden site on the spaceship graveyard. If a danger signal comes in from the Nightmare brain aboard the Behemoth the Five Missile Ships and their escorts will jump in. They will take up positions to not allow a single attack to hit more than one of them, and catch larger ships in their crossfire.
Then they will jump away and await further instructions

I will assist by sending 5 satilights (camoflouged) out to scout for enamies. If any are detected, I will have 5 Nodachi fighters hanging back armed with void bombs to destroy their fleets. The fighter will shadow jumb in deliver its weapon and shadow jumb out. There will be an aditional 20 fighters in researve if the satilights or the five void bomb armed nodachis need assistance.

I prepare a small group of ships, compromised of five Dusk-class Destroyers and my own personal shuttle. The only troops coming with me will be the minimum necessary to successfully control the previously mentioned ships. In my personal shuttle, I'll also have a supply of wrapped presents (however many the ship can hold along with me).

The five ships will head towards the area where the Kasanthian Missle Ships were last seen, ideally trailing them until spotted if possible. The ships are ordered to attack if hostile action is taken from anyone in the area. They have permission to retreat if overwhelmed.

Personally, I'll be exploring the ravines. Any ships I see along my path, I will send a present to until I run out. Should I see a guarded gun, I'll land my personal craft somewhere out of sight and attack myself. If there are any presents leftover, they'll also go with me.

Blackheart security wishes to avoid conflict and would prefer to resolve the guns construction diplomatically. If there is no immediate attack it will focus on fortifying the dome from invasion/orbital attack and work with Terranova to ensure redundancy systems are in place to ensure critical systems won’t be knocked out permanently by EM/WMD chill attacks.

If the Kfed attacks the dome or IRLC ships. And ONLY if it attacks the dome or IRLC ships (We have no standing agreement with any fleets currently). A group of 6 SAAV’s carrying half LoE, half EEF vet (with leyas generator) will rise from hidden staging points in the starship graveyard and “ghost” in K-fed ships engine signatures/blind spots.

Once they shadow jump in they will peel off into the canyons and covertly drop the teams near the guns. They will use MPGs and light leyas augmented weaponry to take out the giant nightmares, and auto springs/mach cannons/laser weapons/UV flashlights/light leyas flashlights to handle the infantry.

Their goal will be to turn the cannons on the Kfed fleet and then rig them to blow. If that is not possible they will instead just rig them to blow. They will retreat to the SAAVs that will wait for chaos/ opportunity to present itself and the SAAV’s will retreat to Fire Dome City.

The Unity will take advantage of our excellent Infantry and defensive placements for this encounter.

Each of the gun platforms will be guarded by one quickly constructed Guardian weapons platform, thirty praetorians, and three Emissaries. Each gun platform will also have one Builder on hand for repairs, and to pray for a peaceful resolution to this encounter.

During the course of this action, the moon will be mined for matter by Unity Harvesters. This matter will be used to begin construction of a scientific station which may monitor the temporal wormhole.

A single fearsome Iron Republic Century-Class Frigate with its stafighter escort will arrive in the skies above Druzi Prime. It will make a show for the people of flying from directly above Druzi in the most obvious path to intercept the postions. It will also have two Starfreighters filled with Reporters and their cameras, with an enhanced and boosted feed that cannot be jammed (direct plane of awareness link to an Interdictor Fleet).
That Interdictor Fleet will slowly move into the jump zones near Druzi 2 moon, closing the circle but not in our dimension.
The Century-class will hail the Kasanthians and demand their immediate surrender and immediate withdrawl from I.R. Space, really playing it up to the cameras.
Then we just wait for the first explosions of weapons fire and unload on the surface with anything we've got.
The Interdictors are just a net to catch escaping Kasanthians and will stay out of our dimension, but the Century-class frigate is gonna be the one to sacrifice itself as such a noble gesture taking one of the hits aimed at the Druzi Prime Fire Dome.
Hopefully the reporters will escape and report on the horribleness of the Kasanthian Federation. Whip the locals into a fury.
If the Century Class doesn't go boom, then it'll use its drop pod launchers to coat the surface of the moon with I.R. Brethren drop troopers. Let the nightmares play with dirty nuclear suits that explode when they try and gnaw on the meaty meaties inside. Druzi 2 might become a nuclear wasteland, and anything on the surface will get EMP'd. Let them die and fry together.

The Quall N'Drone dislikes the needless loss of life among the citizens of the Iron Republic. We shall help with the evacuation of civilians, we shall open several dozen portals to Kyrpos and start evacuating the people. I shall make a refugee camp in my lands for the people to live until a new colony is found to house them. The camp is being set up as we speak by the kind members of the Horn Dog church, it shall be a refuge to those in need. A place for them to be safe, and to learn about the generosity of the Quall.

Terra Nova Industries looks forward to flexing it's technological prowess in the upcoming episode. Terra Nova Industries will support Blackheart Security in all ways possible be they technological or through force of arms. Terra Nova Industries' team on the ground will first help to protect all vital electronic systems from chill and EMP damage and help work out any issues with the Druzi defenders comm systems. Once these tasks are complete Terra Nova Industries' Druzi Prime team will join in the operation to take out the Kasanthian canon positions. If this operation comes to fruition Terra Nova Industries will take prisoners for debriefing were possible as well as capturing all equipment (functioning and non-functioning), for research.

A bunch of "If's"

First off, I bring, in MH colors, 3 Light Frieghters (the ones that the Pirate ones are based off of, but civvie looking), 2 vespidae/wz hornets docked, 1 antares wz hornets docked, my carrion transport, and a compliment of 10 bank guild freighters to Druzi Prime, from the rear (not between moon and planet). These are to be on hold if the occasion for evacuation is required and/or possible. Otherwise, they'll prey they don't get hit by errant shots. If chased, they'll warp to either San Martin to Casablanca. This action will occur no matter what. Also, the freighters (all of them) will have Free System radios, IR radios, and San Martin radios/frequency capabilities.

I will also, in accordance to my peace proposal, produce a canned speech for Irene that will be shown planet-wide. It calls for the people of Druzi Prime to be faithful, be strong, and not to fear. Other bullet points are that she'll mention contacting the Sector General for assistance and working out a solution directly with the terrorists. Although they are loathed by the Iron Republic, she will not fear their tyranny and will face fear directly and demand that their lives and liberty not be trounced upon. She will find a way to overcome the impossible odds and bring to heel an enemy that has shown no mercy and work tirelessly until a solution can be found in the event help comes too late. Her corporate liaisons have been working hard to ensure the safety all Druzi Prime as well, and that she is happy with her decisions that have benefited all the inhabitants of Druzi Prime. Her final words of the bit would state that despite the current poor outlook, she will bring Druzi Prime from this moment of doubt and uncertainty to strength and glory for all its inhabitants.

If Kasanth accepts the proposal I put forth, then I'd produce a bit for her highlighting how the Iron Republic would paint her as a bloodthirsty tyrant with no mercy when all she wants is to ensure freedom from tyranny. Highlights would include how she is no less tyrannous than the IR. She will accede that Irene Diolo is a fair and strong leader, and that Kasanth has heard her proposals and agree to the terms that would otherwise have ensured the destruction of Druzi Prime. In a pact of mutual non-agression, Kasanth will prove that they are not the evil swarm of leeches they are portrayed to be, and that in this singular act she will prove that they are not merely motivated by violence, and that she will prove to all in this sector that Kasanth is not merely a scourge enemy of the IR, but rather a socio-economic alternative to their wage slavery. That their peoples are free, independant, and capable of greatness that these populations do not currently know. All that she, and Kasanth, requests, is the opportunity to prove it to them. She wishes Druzi Prime sucess and long life, and may they all make the proper future decisions.

This bit will show and spread if Kasanth doesn't get completely wiped out by the IR. If the IR attacks, I want to be able to edit it to merely portray a compassionate figure that was willing to be non-violent, despite their initial show of violence that they consider required as the IR never shows mercy. If there's a completely non-violent interaction <<highly unlikely>> then I'd leak the whole bit.

If there is a non-violent solution and/or inaction, I will use a compliment (1 "pirate" frieghter, 1 anteres wz hornets, 3 light frieghters) of the aforementioned ships to liaise with Druzi 2, as per the negotiation, and begin what would otherwise look like a transfer of power, but really allow Kasanth/Trilat to keep its forces in place, with the exception of pointing the big bad gun somewhere else. I will hail and make myself known ALWAYS. I will follow all peace protocols and respond to all hails regarding the same. I will also have the resources ready to begin the shell corporations required for action to allow this area to be "managed" by Trilat under the guise of free systems sub-corps (some of which may or may not be tied to MH). This will primarily include having work visas for IR and identities in free systems to correspond. I will also pool resources from my winnings (pls advise how much) to ensure these contracts and development of Druzi 2 (appearence-wise) that will hopefully generate "revenue." While it would begin small, I'd have the resources available for a quick turnaround to ensure I can fulfill my part of the bargain.

If Deer and his command approach AND Layne Yr agrees to my proposal, I will hail Deer and request that he withhold attacking as I am led to believe that the Kasanthians may have some of my employees and they are willing to negotiate with me and me alone before any battle ensues. I will implore as much as I can get away with. If Deer allows it, I'll hail Kasanth/Trilat and advise them of the detente and how I pulled it off. I'll do so using San Martin radios, not free system or IR ones. I will try to pull off as much of my agreement as I can, including allowing the Kasanthians to appear to make a retreat if they so choose, and if required gather some of them onto a ship and have it leave the region "to return to our employees to their base of operations". Meanwhile I will declare the gun dismantled and the threat dissipated. If pressed, I will advise that I made an offer for my employees back and they accepted. It cost me but, considering the circumstances, they (Kasanth) were amenable. I'd thank Deer for the show of force, as it gave me bargaining leverage.

If Deer does not allow me to visit the moon first before taking military action, ill hail the Trilat and apologize for not being able to fulfill my part. I'll beg for them not to destroy Druzi Prime and that, irrespective of the victors of the battle, I'm sure a business arrangement can still be worked out for mutual benefit.

If Layne Yr does not respond to my queries, per the thread, I'll request that Deer hold off action until it becomes clear that Kasanth has ill intent, as we had been "buying" time with Kasanth in hopes of finding a non-aggressive means to resolve this matter. If questioned, I'll respond that it's bad for business if there are two fights in the region in such a short time. The longer we hold off battle, the better the business outlook may be. Obviously, the safety of his men and crew are tantamount, so I don't expect pacifism. However, if the possibility exists to prevent errant fire onto Druzi prime just by showing everyone how he has the proverbial biggest cock on the playground, I hope he takes it. Especially since Kasanth may just be posturing because they found material on that moon during the last battle that may be worth investigating if they can be coaxed out of their position instead of being blown out of them. Hopefully this will buy time so that I can finalize a strategy to fulfil my desire to quash the threat, create a long-term business partnership with kasanth, ensure I only bend and not break IR law in the process, and ensure the IR fleet doesn't blow everything up first.

Again, once shots are fired, I'm gone as I'm just a "civvie" and REALLY don't want to get caught up in the fighting. The only fighting I'll do is if an evacuation is required, my ships are attacked, or defend Terranova and Blackheart if they are attacked first (not if they get trigger happy and shoot first). Evacuations will be performed on Blackheart's request. Other than ruling family, my employees get first dibs. Blackheart chooses the rest and how it goes down. I transport to whatever is closer or faster, Casablanca, Free Systems, or Esiroh(s). I set up the possibilities for refugee camps in those various locations.
