EEF command staff and allies meeting (Refuge Orbit aboard the RNS Vigilent)

*The exterior wall of the conference room currently has its shutters open to allow a view of the planet below through the armorglass window. The room is centered around a large square table holding at its center a holoprojector showing still images of The Forgotten. Aides scurry about the room collecting and collating new data as it arrives. Some of the seats have been removed and have been replaced with small holoprojectors for those who are not able to attend in person. Field Marshall Strykker sits at the head of the table.*

Alright people lets get this started. As most of you probably know by now the TRILAT and the Quall have managed to bring a greater fiend of Warmonger into Krypos. We have people going thought the Academia's library and VLAD sealed records right now finding everything they can on this thing. What we know for sure right now isn't much.
First its composed of nano-plague, leyas and hate. Second that it's somehow incorperated KFed gravitic generators into its body which its used to create lava waves and throw things at high speed. Lastly everything its touched so far has been consumed and added into its body.
We've already had requests from the TRILAT to help destroy or contain this thing. I don't have much love for either the Quall or most of the TRILAT but Warmonger and its minions have to be contained at all costs.
We're already getting an Exorcist strike team assembled as well as some heavy support. I'm also considering employing a so far secret weapon against it. What I want from you all is your thoughts and plans. How do we react to this thing? And secondly what is our future stance on the fighting on Krypos?

Just because I have fought Warmonger once during my routine espionage of a fellow EEF officer I seem to have volunteered to be a part of the task force to hunt down an inter-dimensional monster that claims his name. Sometimes the rules of the EEF are...annoying.

Let the TRILAT and Iron Repbulic fight over Krypos, unless we have a specific objective on the dimension. By all means let them fight it out. If one side is victorious and we want to move on them then we will strike them when they are weakened. Why get our hands dirty when we don't have to?

Also with their attention divided we can aggressively expand in this galaxy.

My noble lions and I will go on the hunt for Warmonger's fiend. Seeing as I have read the battle damage reports and found the conditions in and around the dead Quall continent to be unsatisfactory I will bolt on armor to a freighter and use it as a command post high above the actual action.

I will use one of my favorite bird dogs to force the fiend out into the open and then destroy it. I will outsource the role of being the things prey to Blackheart Securities. No need for my Lions to dirty themselves running from a fight. Blackheart will also supply general support and be my gamble against the unknown.

I will use 4 squads of my lions in AAVs to locate the ambush site. The site needs to be one it has already torn through, so my prey feels safe in its surroundings. It must also be hot radioactively and in the leyas (I will use some of the Vlad personnel assigned to spy on me to verify the leyas radiation).

Once it is lured to the site I implore the use of weapons of mass destruction and EMP weaponry. Barring that I do know an EEF officer who would be more than happy to use his annihilation leyas to destroy it.

Gentlemen and women, my name is Childeen Blackheart. I am the director of Blackheart Security Solutions. I have worked for some of you, and not have yet had the pleasure for others. General Vulfrum has already arranged payment from his personal budget for my work in this operation. However part of that contract is a cancellation clause. I understand plans change however if I don't like my corporations role in the final plan I can nullify the contract and return my fees minus payment for the man hours of research and analysis.

Using General Vulfrums plan once a proper location has been chosen and prepared it will be my job to find the fiend and be like the gazelle on an earth nature holo.

I realize General Vulfrum will not be working solitary on this mission so I will describe the terrain. It is inhospitable and grants every advantage to the fiend. The crags and obsidian spires allow for numerous hiding spots. Whats left of the trenches and other battlements form a labyrinth. The background leyas radiation is high. Our work is cut out for us.

Going into these areas after the creature is suicide. Any intelligence that can be provided me through you all would be much appreciated because I can't scout the entirety of the Dead Quall Continent. I need it locked down to a sector. I have my analysts tracking all reporting we have been privy too through my channels and they assess this things most likely course of action is to head for a Unity enclave. If it can feast on the Unities technology wholesale it will be virtually unstoppable.

There is one thing it will chase harder than ultra tech. A way out. This fiend makes it off Krypos and it will be a very bad day for the galaxy.

That being said this is my plan. I am going to scent a trail. Perpendicular to its path. I will use mix of leaky nanite syringes, tons of com crystal traffic, and a poorly shielded shadow artifact that will give off radiation like it was a shadow drive.

The element to draw the fiend to our trap is going to consist of 2 Foxfoot rally Hovercars augmented with a rear gunner and external seating. Crew of 3, driver, navigator, and gunner. The only crew member who will be immutable is the drivers and I have found 2 of my fighter jocks with extensive race experience. The rest will be trained leyas users and both vehicles will have active leyas generators on them. They will have their heads on a swivel looking in both normal spectrum, leyas, and the drivers using thermal scanners. Once they have spotted the fiend they will engage with a special variety of springshot bolt and high tail it toward the ambush site.

The bolts they will engage with are a rare sort. Does anyone know of the Fae'lakin tribe of Cum'fe? They live in a few glades in Taris. They are natural shapeshifters whom love to give themselves bug wings. They are pacifists but use arrows and bolts that are artificed with cause elation, soothe temper, and cure insanity to turn all would be attackers away.

I am pretty sure a few of those will make the fiend either turn from destruction and start planting a garden, weaken it as it tries to fight the healing leyas powers, and/or give it blood rage tunnel vision.

So once we get to the site we ditch one of the hover cars, make it think the thing broke down. The crew will strap into the other and they will continue to bug out. The hover car left behind will have a false shadowdrive. That will get it into ground zero. Then its your show.

My command staff will be aboard General Vulfrums command freighter. I will be navigator on car 2. I will also have 2 wings of fighters pulling recon duties well out of reach of the fiend. They will be our early warning against another force attempting to aid the fiend.

If one of the cars goes down. The first option will be an immutable rescue force using a prototype of a new AAV my corporation is testing. If they can't rescue the crew then the drivers both will have had memory scans and can be cloned, and the rest of the crew will be missing their little toes. They will either kill themselves or call in an airstrike on themselves. Any who die will be brought back on an isolated station in EEF space. I have expert docs who will be battery testing them for nanoplague or genetic changes. If any flags come up they will quarantine while we figure out what to do.

If the a large force of Quall or TRILAT move to interdict the EEF force I can provide early warning but have neither the numbers nor capability to protect the entire ambush force.

Very good gentlemen. I think this plan should work well.
Mr. Blackheart the EEF main fleet will provide the site security. I don't think we need to worry much about a Quall or TRILAT attack to help this thing they want it dealt with as much as we do. Still it pays to be prepared so we'll be providing ships and fighters for air cover and ground forces to isolate the area and neutralize any incoming hostiles. I'd imagine if we see any they'll be Warmonger cultists. Usually enthusiastic but not effective or well equipped. I'll also see what I can do about getting to up to date intel on the terrain for you.

General Vulfram as to your suggestion of employing WMD's rest assured I'll authorize their release if we can draw the creature far enough away from the front lines. I'm not going to risk feeding this thing or Warmonger with more deaths if I can avoid it. We have to make sure that we minimize collateral damage. If we can handle it without directly risking ground forces so much the better. Get me a large enough kill zone and I'll have the fleet light this thing up.
If however, we have to do it the old fashioned way we'll be mobilizing some special assets I'm confident can handle the situation besides the exorcists I've already mentioned. They will be tasked with directly confronting the Forgotten if need be. I think we'll need them to finish this thing off no in any case from the reports I've read fiends as powerful as thing must be usually can't be put down for sure without banishing them.

Well the floor is still opened. Any more plans or suggestions?

I've reached an arrangement with the TRILAT on this matter and we will be coordinating our efforts. They've also been given a com feed to this meeting to enable us to plan together.

Prime's voice projected clearly over the loudspeaker, though there was some slight static which sounded almost like screaming in the background.

Everyone,

My time is somewhat short, as I must personally involve myself in reclaiming a prototype of mine. It sounds like the lot of you are in the right frame of mind, but I will add my own thoughts. It is my hope that the Builders which have volunteered for this assignment will manage to calm the creature, and the souls it has stolen. If they can do so, its capabilities should be significantly diminished. If it must be, they have expressed to me that they would all undergo final death to set free the souls trapped in eternal torment. They will know what they must do, if they must do it.

Beyond this, I've attached a general projection of it's abilities, determined by the devices it has incorporated. The actual output will likely be significantly higher, due to demonic influence. The issue here is that the demon may be able to ignore EMP while using nanoplauge. This is unacceptable, as it could use Nanoplauge to cause great harm. We will be supplying you with the capability to make holy EMP; a creation of the Builders. They can bless objects which emit EMP, such as your missiles, and we have found this to have a profoundly significant impact on demonic elements which would dare use our technology.

This aside, I am please to report that we have rescued two forgotten races already. We will give details as they arise, but our work bears much fruit. If any of you can stay, we are working on a more permanent solution to Quall. If you can defend Reclamation Citadel 1, I can change the Quall forever. Of course, if my new Choir, Liberation, goes insane, I have to say I trust none more than the EEF to quickly dispatch it. You've been an excellent thorn in my side in the past, and I'm sure you could overwhelm the defenses of those who would use the new Choir for infernal ends.

Additionally, the Iron Republic has been logging distress signals. Any idea on what is going on?

We'll take advantage of that offer of holy EMP. We'll also do our best to see that your builders don't need to go that far. We'll have to discuss reclaimation citidel 1 another time.
For now it seems everyone knows thier part and its time to get moving.
