Open Play- How to Submit a Mission

You are going to post your desired mission intro here in this section. You start you mission Title With

Open Play Week # Type of Mission - Name of Mission (special limited access)

for example

Open Play Week 1 Insurrection Mission - When the FoF uplink went silent what happened to the FoF in our dimension? (IR, EEF, Unity, Free Systems Only)

Then you write up the incharacter storyline intro.
This section must have the why of the mission, the where of the mission and who are involved.

Info that must be in this section are:

What forces will be there? Who do they serve? (Give specific ships and numbers of units and any obvious formations)

What faction groups are allowed into this mission and whether or not they can invite friends into the mission.

The Reward the Narrator's faction is getting for the mission. The Narrator reward is not really a gift for their own character, its about what they are opening up for their faction, whether that is new worlds, new resources, or even new methods of production that require rare elements.

Antagonists: These are the "villians" or challengers of the missions who are player characters who are allowed to post. If there are no Antagonists say No Antagonists. The Player narrator may not post themselves as the Antagonist for a mission.

All other rewards to players and Antagonist players will be set by Admin.

You post your mission with the above format in the mission submission forum. other players may make genuine questions and comments about concerns of character continuity.

Anyone in this section judged to be flaming or being disgruntled will take a Morale drop -50 for making it a hostile dimension.

Anyone who hits 0 morale in this way will literally lose their forces, so be very respectful on all sides!

The Admin will chose to approve or not approve missions based on monthly perogative and number of missions submitted, but most will be accepted if with a few modifications.

The Narrator player for a mission must submit the proposed events into the Open Play Events section by the Tuesday after the Friday that the mission closed. If they do not that Narrator player gets a drop in Morale by 20 pts for each day they are late until the following Friday when they get an Asleep at the Wheel "Award". Anyone with three or More Asleep at the Wheel "Awards" cannot submit any more missions this month. They must get Admin permission to get to submit missions the following month.

Get out of Jail Free Usb Card- Will remove 1 Asleep at the Wheel Awards in the case of "Death in the Family", "Loss of Power/Cable", "My spouse threw the computer out the window of the bedroom/speeding car because I was using it too much", "Paralysis in any form, unless you want to submit your moves via mp3. Mp3 submission of missions ONLY allowed to those who are A) Blind, B) Paralysed, C) Extraterestrial, which i beleve covers none of you (feel free to correct me in the Questions section if i am wrong in which case my apologies).

There are multiple types of missions.

Space Battle: A straight up fight between two fleets of different factions and sizes. The rewards for these are new worlds (planets or Moons) in opposite faction sections of space dolled out by Admin.

Insurrection Mission: This turns a planet into a contested world and adds it to the contested planets list. It must be done with cunning and guile, and usually involves one faction infiltraiting another planet's society, or activing cells of loyal agents already hidden on the planet.

Recovery Mission: This involves saving a planet from an environmental threat, or the threat of a dangerous alien species (NO GREY ATTACKS ALLOWED EXCEPT BY ADMIN, No Warmonger returns or returns of other major dead characters except by Admin). However this is an encouraged type of mission if you plan on sending soldiers into one of the primorial dimensions on a mission.

Conquest Mission- This is about taking a world from some one or some thing else. A Maximum of one Conquest Missions per Week.
Conquest must allow at least one other faction a chance at Conquering the site instead of the Narrator player's.

Heroic Missions- These are Character Building Missions with NO Combat of ANY TYPE and unlimited posts by all characters invited. These are to represent parties of state, public speaking events and important bargaining sessions. BUT It must include no less than two other factions invited other than the one of the narrator player.

Investment Missions- These are designed to allow all factions to expand their internal culture, no combat may be made during this mission.

Versus Mission- This is a two on two, one on two, or one on one mission. PVP is encouraged.

Hunt- This is a mission to find either a creature, a rare element, or something else thats very hard to find or catch.

- If its blank there is something shady about it. These missions may be traps, but always have some awesome rewards.

MOST IMPORTANT RULE: NARRATOR PLAYERS do not get to make mission posts like normal players do in the missions that narrator player posts.
