Dear Prelate,

The Da'uhnb criminal who attacked your former hive has been executed for his crimes.
Now you are something new, and we wish to welcome you to this reality with words of peace and friendship.

The Da'uhnb wish only to learn more about the new faith you represent.

Thank you for your time,

Cecil Hornbow

Prelate Ye'seren listened to the message and sat back in his chair, he was quite surprised to be receiving this message from the Temporal Empire, the people who have been so harsh, and combative now reach out in friendship?

"Mr. Hornbow, please do not take this the wrong way but I am confused regarding this message. You inform me that the one who led the attack upon Ar'Yay Hive Queen has been executed, interesting timing, how this criminal was apprehended and executed after his massive attack. He had a very impressive arsenal, clean bombs, nuclear weapons, explosives of all types. In addition the fleet sent into your territory to spread our words of peace has been met with hostility and threats of pirate attacks. You didn't care to learn about us before, we have been spreading a message of peace here on Druzi and elsewhere for months and we were met with only anger and hostility. All we were met with was assumptions and anger.

Now, I am not sending this to you because I want there to be bad blood between us, I do not want hostility at all, but I want you to understand how me and my people feel. We see you suddenly becoming friendly after so much hostility I cannot promise that those who follow me would be willing to just accept this turn around. Despite the fact that we are no longer hosts to Quall N'Drone we are still the same people we were before. I do try to promote tolerance but there are many who unfortunately do hold a grudge against your people and Government. It will take time for my people to desire your friendship. I personally do hope that we can put the past behind us and work together for a grand new future.

I greatly respected Ar'Yay Hive Queen, she treated me and the rest of us with respect, taught us about the dangers of the Ancient Evils. We still are against Warmonger and the rest of the demons. Before her none of us could even imagine the threats of the Ancient Evils, now we know and we have dedicated ourselves to their defeat and wish to protect this dimension and any other threatened by the demon threat. Her loss is very hard on all of us as she has guided many of us for centuries and have made us what we are today, both mindset wise and now physically with her sacrifice. She gave her life for us to have a chance, to live a life without discrimination.

"Then you should be aware that the Da'uhnb Queen has sent her condolences.
Do not make the same mistake as the late Xec Cex, do not hate a species for its flawed individuals. The Da'uhnb do not experience time like we do. The events we see as within moments are lifetimes apart. And lifetimes are just blinked eyes between flashes of light. Or at least that is how the Queen explained it to me.

You must realize why they now befriend you? It is not duplicitious. It is because despite your best efforts you were just the eyes and ears of the Hive Queen council. But now you are free.

Once the Quall HiveQueen Council learn about you, they will try and destroy your hive as an abomination.

But our funeral present to Ar'yay is to protect your fledgling species she gave her life to bear. If you allow us to. We will hide you from all historical records that could reach the Quall. Until the time is right."

I have received no communication from your Queen, did she make a public announcement? i would find that odd if she did. I have been on Druzi and have not listened to the public news in a while. I will be going back to the "Light of Dawn" space station soon, perhaps she left the message there.

Xec Cex was not the only member of your people to take part in this attack, many of them joined in. I wonder if they have all been punished for this or if he is the sacrificial lamb intended to take the blame so your government can deny everything. Of course there is no way of knowing for sure. You will forgive me if I do not take you at your word.

As for hatred, I feel no hatred in my heart, however I cannot speak for all of my people. You have to understand, the vast majority of the people within Queen Ar'Yay's Horned Dog were wage slaves, the impoverished and the downtrodden. Many of us including myself lost our families to Manslayer attacks, regular and E Strain as well as the current threats like the Trilat. She saved us from suffering and misery, gave us a second chance at life. All she asked of us was to give others the same chance that she gave to us. Many here view your government as accepting of what happened to Queen Ar'Yay, an apology will hardly satisfy them. They won't do anything rash I do promise you but you can hardly blame them for their feelings. After all, Ar'Yay Hive Queen apologized for her attack on your people, the next thing we know Da'uhnb are dropping weapons of mass destruction upon the one who has guided and protected us fighting along side Garmen Fe. Will your government condemn his actions? I highly doubt that, he worked with this "criminal" of yours but something tells me that he won't be bothered by the Temporal Empire for these actions.

As for the Hive Queen council, everyone who is a part of the Church of the New Dawn's Light is an Iron Republic citizen. As you are well aware legally the Quall N'Drone cannot do anything against us unless we violate Iron Republic law and are declared criminals or rebels. If you remember Ar'Yay Hive Queen was declared rogue for violating the laws of the Iron Republic.

You remind me of Unity Prime, he speaks of cooperation yet his actions incite violence while hiding behind his allies and saying that their actions are their own and he cannot be held responsible nor can he do anything about them. He later admitted that he did in fact encourage his allies to strike against Ar'yay. I see no reason to trust you, you have done nothing to earn my trust just threats against me if I don't.

Maybe you are used to everyone doing whatever you say but I won't. If you can earn my trust I will give it, for now I will simply tell you that I won't do anything against you and I will do my very best to make sure that none of my people decide to "go rogue" and go against your people. Once you prove to them that your intentions are good and that you weren't complacent in Ar'Yay's death then maybe, just maybe, I will cooperate with you. For now, I have to assume you want to use me and mean me and my people no good. Trust is a precious thing, and we have been burned too many times to simply give trust quickly.

One of our people met a Mr Gootes at a party a short while ago, he had a good impression of MR. Gootes. Maybe not everyone within the Temporal Empire oozes with arrogance. We will think upon this.

Cecil Hornbow bows respectfully, thanks the Prelate for hearing him and leaves. For two full weeks no communications come to the Church or its Prelate from the Temporal Empire or its representatives.

At the end of that time, the Prelate is told that a Da'uhnb in a big fuzzy top hat is waiting outside and rudely throwing stones up at the window on the second floor. When confronted by guards the Da'uhnb tells them, "Me Gootes Macbride. Sorry for Windows I hope to wake friend Tiduk. Tiduk dance with soul and Gootes friend. Gootes know Tiduk an initiate or initiative or something like that so Gootes didn't know if its allright for Tiduk to have guests and come out and play.
Gootes stop throwing stones now, please don't get angry at Tiduk, he good, and Gootes don't want to get him in trouble. But if Tiduk allowed to come out Gootes bring enough Hiverbikes for two."

Gootes points at a pair of Hiverbikes with obvious racing stripes.
Then Gootes sits down and patiently waits to see what the Prelate and his guards decide.

"I shall allow the Initiate to go with you, despite everything I really do want peace between us. Though peace takes time and effort."

Initiate Tiduk exits the building and bows politely to Gootes Macbride. "Greetings Mr. Macbride, it is a pleasure to see you again. I will be pleased to accompany you, though I will have to start slowly until I get used to the Hoverbikes."

Initiate Tiduk hops onto one of the bikes. "I will follow you."
