The Prisoners release Empty The Prisoners release

**Onboard the Hawk of Eons heading to refuge (We can just keep it rolling from there unless admin has a better plan)**

As Childeen sat down and strapped in next to the Magnavore he passed him an aluminum canteen cup with either water or something stronger depending on DP2's preference. He pulled out three laquered boxes and an OD Ammunition can. Inside the cases were two matching gold chased shot guns and a platinum chased revolver with an old style scope. "I believe you had wanted these."

As DP2 appraised the weapons Childeen would ask. "Who are you? I think I get to know that seeing as I rescued you and all."

The Prisoners release Empty Re: The Prisoners release

The Prisoner graciously accepted the weapons. He was impressed by the fine quality and craftmanship. He checked the scope with the skill of a practiced hunter.

With a very serious look on his face the Prisoner said, " I wasn't lying when I said I can't tell you. The Angels of Desolation put some stuff in my head and it stops me."

He tried to say any defining information, his eyes rolled up into his head and he began to drool.
When he stopped quivering he said in slurred speach, "Childeen , may I call you by your first name?"
Without waiting for a reply he continued, "It's strange I woke up on Mandate Prison a few weeks before the TRILAT attack. I couldn't say my name or any other identifiable information. Instead i would fall into a fugue state.

When I'm in the fugue, there are these strange memories of being tortured by Alice Clegg and Tronde Vale while Angel D watched them. "

Childeen shuddered thinking about what the Prisoner must have endured. "I hope Azrael's Scalpal cures that as well as changes you back to your normal form. Though, if you decided you would prefer to stay a magnavore I am sure the Uloh would gladly accept you among their ranks."

He paused to take a drink himself, "So I wanted to ask, when were you on Nilos? I have still been exploring the planets wonders. Though I must it admit it has changed drastically in the past month or so."

The Prisoner sipped the drink and thought back,

"It was soon after my mother and I left Hope's End and were traveling by starfreighter to meet with my father at Astarte 7. My mother had given birth to me on a mission to negotiate with free systems farmers. Her pregnancy was known and my father didn't want her to travel.
On the way back with me there were complications and my mother's health wouldn't survive another Shadow Jump. At the time we didn't realize she was an Adept and the time mid-jump was exposing her to too much Leyas Radiation.
So we put down on Nilos and my father came to meet us there. He built a small treatment center with his moderate wealth. My mother was treated but she never got better. Her slow debilitating end took five years so I was a boy by the time my father took me back to Astarte 7 and left her there.

I once was on Nilos, but beyond the natural beauty and sadness I don't remember much. The sanitarium is probably still there."

"Have we hailed the EEF?" Asked the Prisoner, "I need this worm out of my head and my skin turned back from this shell."

Childeen nodded, "Hopefully you can build new and happier memories there. I called the EEF once we reached their space. When we touch down on refuge we will link up with field marshal strykker to go to the scalpel of Azrael." Childeen was in thought for a moment and then went to the cockpit. As he sat back down he said, "I am having the communications officer put a message out to my people on Nilos, see what they can find about the clinic. It might be the lead that we need to start filling in the blanks."

(OoC: Admin or DP2 can you tell me what I find out I dunno if you need me to do a skill check or what)

The Prisoners release Empty Re: The Prisoners release

As the Hawk of Eons sets down on a landing pad in the Earther Colony of Zelga on the planet Refuge, Childeen sends out messages to Field Marshall Stykker to prepare the scalpel.

The Field Marshal greets them in a secret sub-basement of the Royal Zelgan Museum. Here hidden away below the bustling college town, was the Scalpel of Azrael.

The device filled the room with its strange metal stuts and its curving disc like appendages.
It was marked with the symbol of the crossed scythes of Azrael. Many claimed the device had been made by the fallen Falosini Sovereign himself. It's powers were mostly unknown, except its ability to shatter the spiritual link between a Quall Larva (or mutant subspecies) and its host. It frees the host permanently from the Hivemind.

Despite EEF scientists studying it day and night its was still a mystery of Leyas Artificing.

(Ooc Blackheart open a thread in Nilos and roll an intelligence test to search for the sanitarium that DP2 mentioned field Marshall Strykker is now in this conversation.)

Jeremiah turned from the scalpel as Childeen and the Prisoner walked into the room. He offered a hand shake to Blackheart.
"Chilldeen I didn't have the chance before but I wanted to say thank you for your gift. It wasn't necessary, I'm just glad you got your people back. I hope Ironsbane's trick didn't cost you to much." With that Jeremiah turned to the prisoner.

"I've heard a lot about you Sir. I understand you can't tell me much about yourself. Don't worry about it or now. If you're ready we've readied scalpel for you." He gestured to the ancient artifact. "I can't tell you how it works but it hasn't failed to remove a larva yet no matter how mutated or modified."

"Thank you Field Marshall,
I know all this is highly irregular. The entire universe has gone mad since the AOD unleashed the Estrain on the universe.
After listening into their arguing Hiveminds, I just want to be free of this godforsaken larva."

And with that The Prisoner lay on the prepared medical gurney and said,
"I'm ready, no matter what happens."

The Prisoners release Empty Re: The Prisoners release

Post  Admin Tue Jul 26, 2011 2:31 am

There was a wierd chill in the air as Azrael's Scalpel hummed to life.
It quickly excised the magnavore larva from the Prisoner's head and annihilated it. Then it extracted more strange implants. Once they were all removed , and contained in the case of one implant, the whole and uninjured Friedrick of the Kal Marx Household stood before them.
"I can remember it all,I used to be a stockholder, a Director on the Board of the Iron Republic.
My name is Friedrick, and I have been replaced..."
As emotions churned in the Prisoner's Guts, Field Marshal Strykker walked over to Childeen and one of the EEF Scientists.
The scientist said, "Sir as I was explaining to Mr. Blackheart. This gentleman, Friedrick, has all the markings of a rapid grown clone. Less than six months old."

Jeremiah sighed, his day was not looking up. Now he just had to explain the situation to the prisoner.
Then Jeremiah had a worse thought. If this was Prisoner 2 where was Prisoner #1.

Field Marshal Strykker and Mr. Blackheart,

Thank you for you help. If not for you I would never have been cured.

Allow me to introduce myself finally for the first time.

My name is Friedrick Cal Marx. While the Cal Marx family name goes back many generations, I was the first to reach the status of Stockholder. My father signed the name as Kal Marx (as the letter C is always changed to a K in the style of the citizens of Astarte 7).

Since the loss of my chosen homeworld of Astarte 7, I have hated the TRILAT. Then their villanious Angel D captured me and tortured me and implanted that larva in my head in her lab.

Under the Jarob Treaty of Year 5 and the Treaties of 2218 and 2219, I respectfully request the aid of the EEF in returning to my place of rule in the Iron Republic.

Do I have your support?

Friedrick Cal Marx

Jeremiah looked Marx in the eye and replied.
"I'm, afraid that things aren't as simple as that right now Mr. Marx. I have some bad news that I assume you aren't aware of. First there has been a Kal Marx working on the board for months now. He was rescued a while back and now I can only assume that he is a clone or a doppelganger. So we can't just walk up to the board and present you. It seems that more than one clone may have been made. I'm sorry to say it but our initial reports indicate that you are a clone. I'm sure thats hard to hear but I won't sugar coat it for you. You can see the results yourself." He held the print out for Marx to see. "That also leaves us with two questions. What would you like to do? Since unless these results are wrong I can't bring you back to the Iron Republic. Secondly, where are they holding the, pardon the term, original you?

The Prisoners release Empty Re: The Prisoners release

Post  DPrisoner00200 Wed Aug 03, 2011 1:58 pm

The prisoner sat down heavily, the weight of his predicament on his shoulders.
After all the fighting, the struggle, the torture, to finally escape only to learn he was a fake, a clone, an experiment.
He looked up at Jeremiah Strykker with gratitude, "Field Marshal, I hope the offer of asylum still stands because now I have no home to go back to. My name might be. Friedrick Cal Marx but as far as the IR is concerned I am no better than a Brethren and disposable as a clone.
As for the, it hurts to say, original, I can only suspect he is still trapped at the torture house and lab that the Angels of Desolation have at the planet Niflheim on the edge of Estrain space. Before the Ft.Lendill computer virus drove the Estrain into different hives, there was a bustling city on Niflheim. Now its rogue Estrain territory."

"In exchange for that information I want your help getting revenge on Angel D. I don't demand it, I ask you one man to another."

Jeremiah nodded his head, "The offer still stands. It wouldn't be right to just put you out after all of that anyway. You can sign up with the EEF if you'd like or we can find you a nice place to retire to and start a new life. First though tell me what else you know about Niflheim we can set up a rescue mission and if we find a AoD cell active you'll get your shot at revenge."
