To the great minds of FT Lendill,
I need your help. A number of my citizens are becoming Magnavores. I have heard rumor that Fort lendill had technology to splinter hives. I need use of that technology so I can ensure these new magnavores aren't under angel D's control.

You can name your price.

*Visual transmission sent as a reply. On screen is a human male, looking to be in his mid thirties with the starting of grey hair at his temples.*

Greetings Childeen,
First let me say that you have my heartfelt sympathy for the illness that is affecting your people. As the realms of medical science are not my strength, as well as myself and my crew being out of the loop for some time as our fleet was being constructed, I will have to refer this question to my superiors. Please be assured though that by the time you will have received this reply that I will have already contacted my superiors through more direct methods than are available to you.

The following is a holo-recording sent as a reply Childeen Blackheart at Casablanca Station.
A SUARM commander appears and says...

"Sir Blackheart, I am afraid that commander Mor'aye'ahn is unavailable for direct communication as he is in negotiations on Tapestry. I am hereby authorized by his command to give any help available to any worthy cause and as it stands ours does seem worthy. As for cures or methods of disrupting E-strain hives my knowledge of such things is quite limited and until we aboard the Dragons Teeth or on any ship of Mor'aye'ahn's fleet can contact our Commander."

End Transmission.

((OOC: I really do not know if FtL does have technology that disrupts hives. If anyone else does know or knows where this is referenced please please PLEASE let me know.))

*Encrypted Transmission*

Childeen Blackheart,
While medical science is not my specialty, technology is. I have just received word that, after some scouring of the FtL databases, the cure has been obtained. As the firewalls the information was located behind are the like of I've never seen before I must stress that I cannot guarantee that this is identical to the cure known as the Snowcrash protocol. Various parts of the data were missing and had to be reconstructed via cyclic redundancy checks/protocol.

If you are willing to take the chance, I will transmit the data to the FtL Suarm citizens, who will be instructed to create and observe the protocol as it gets disseminated. That way your people will have the opportunity for the "cure" but our technology is not in danger of falling into hands we would rather not have it in.

If this works then I will leave it up to my commanders to decide the payment once they are done on Tapestry, if it doesn't then it's on your head, not ours. As time is of the essence there will be no time for testing. According to the reports given to me a week of testing would require:
1 sample manslayers to test it on.

And in that week the Estrain would have 42 breeding cycles in that time period (every breeding cycle is 4 hours). Each breeding cycle would allow Each active Estrain manslayer to breed 40 eggs that result in 40 fully grown Estrain manslayers in 4 more hours.

After 42 breeding cycles a single planet with only 1 manslayer egg would turn into a planet with billions of active Estrain Manslayers, and millions of Estrain Maulers and Estrain Brain Crabs.

As you can see, the epidemic gets horrible faster than STD's get passed around on a pleasure liner so decide quickly if you feel the risk is worth it.
