Jeremiah Strykker,

When I first met you, you were just a Brigadier General tasked to the border of Refuge near the colony of Baronade. Strykker's Jerky if I remember correctly. Best tasting rations I've ever had.
Now you are out in space, a master of many worlds. Honored Field Marshall welcome officially to space, though your reach has already gone far.
I am concerned about weapon smuggling to the surface of Refuge. Imagine terrorists with a Wormhole Weapon, or a pack of Starfighters with high powered Mach Cannons.
I fear we are arming a rebellion beneath your feet. Therefore I encourage you to act with extreme prejudice on any groups selling illegal weapons down here, except the Banking Guild of course.
I will do so in my territories as well. Between the EEF and the Tarrisian Free State we can police weaponry to prevent another war like the Border Wars.

*OoC: Seeing as these subjects are linked I figured I wouldn't crowd the forum with them, unless told otherwise my charrie obviously doesn't know what SGS and FMS talk about*

Sector General Stark,
I have heard rumor that their is a pending famine in the Northern Kingdoms of Refuge. The last time I heard tensions were this high it resulted eventually in the Unity, Fort Lendil, Kasanth, etc building their kingdoms. Obviously that level of instability is dangerous.

I had put an aid package together to alleviate the situation and had asked Sector General Deer if I could orbital drop it. He for completely understandable reasons would not allow me to. He is pushing a short term aid package to get the NK through the winter. My aid package should take care of the concerns in the future also.

The aid is already paid for and I would prefer it not wasted. I have no issue turning it over to you so no may distribute it in the Northern Kingdoms to stop this crisis. I only ask that the people or at least the leaders of the Northern kingdoms know that it was me who paid for it. I have been eye retirement properties in Tarris, assuming I can get the Visa required for it.

*General Reply*

I've been concerned about the situation in the Northern Kingdoms as well. We've began to get some aid organized but frankly the EEF doesn't have a lot to offer in that regard and for the most part the Colonial governments don't care to help so there is only so much I can do. Still I will gladly support any aid efforts made by Blackheart Security. On the off chance that the Iron Republic wishes to offer aid I'm sure we could work something out.

In all honesty Sector General I've been more concerned about Leyas generators and artifacts getting off the planet than I have been about weapons getting here. Unless you know something I don't. Is there a specif group or problem that has you worried? Either way I see your point and agree in principle so I'll see that we step up inspections of imports.

Encrypted to Strykker only,

Typical people wanting my attention. Sorry for that Field Marshall. Everyone wants something. Most in the northern kingdoms want weapons to overthrow the Itashi Alliance. They blame For Lendill and Beacon City's success in space for their own personal failures in economy.

I agree the threat of Leyas Generators is a deep threat, but Fort Lendill and their faux sylvan power converters have been the largest influx of Leyas use. Fort Lendill have also been selling Leyas based starships.

I know I cannot take them on without starting war with you so I have avoided the topic.

++++

Blackheart if Sector General Deer made a pronouncement I will not do any action which lessens his input on his own sector of space.

I apologize for having to say so. Maybe you can donate these supplies to the TFS as a personal donor.
Then we will have those handing out the supplies announce your name as an honorific. Will that suffice.

Sector General Stark,
That will def suffice, I would ask that the aid filter out to more than Taris, but I will leave that in the TFS's somewhat capable hands. I will transfer the grains to you for the actual transport. Its already been bought and paid for, because I expected less red tape, and I would prefer it found some good rather than rot

I want the IR to handle it because Sector General Deer did bring up a valid point that an arms dealer shipping "aid" anywhere can seem suspicious, it would probably give everyone more of a warm and fuzzy if the aid left my hands.

V/R,
Childeen

(OoC: The aid is completely legit. All inspections would show it was a hearty winter grain that responds well to the leyas and can handle the sub artic temps of most of the NK)

**Encrypted to Stark**
Sector General Stark,

Is your greater concern leyas generators and power converters leaving the planet or people smuggling weapons to the Northern Kingdoms? If its the later I'd have to say that Mr. Blackhearts suggestion of a large aid program is certainly for the best. Well fed people are happy and happy people don't stage armed rebellions. If this is really about Fort Lindell it becomes a more complicated problem. Perhaps you or some dummy corporation could start buying up their supplies of sylvan power converters? That way they'd be off the market you could make sure they stayed secure Fort Lindell would be able to maintain itself (something I'd like to see since its one of the few Northern Kingdoms that isn't on very hard times right now) and there will be no need for anyone to start fighting.
