A Challenge of Honor (week 8) Empty A Challenge of Honor (week 8)

Post  Palomedes Thu Jul 07, 2011 1:11 am

This Challenge Goes out to Sector General Deer and Ar'yay HiveQueen.
In the past your distain for each other has been clear. It is Time to put this bad blood behind us.

The Iron Republic and the Quall are a team, a team that has controlled Known Space and pushed down all enemies for over 2,000 years.

This is a battle to show our unified front.

The Battle will on IRPPV but only to the board of Directors, the Quall HiveQueen Council, and those with security rating and clearance. That way if we have a repeat of the last BattleCity we can control the information that reaches the public.

Deer and Ar'yay vs. an Army set forth by Me. Each can pick one Champion and six soldiers.

They must defeat ten DreadMeks and two squads of twenty Brethren Betas each led by Quall N'fel. And a single Culler Strider.

If they Win they win together, if they fail, they fail epically and arm in arm.

This is a challenge of Honor.

If you accept this Challenge simply agree and give us the list of your champion and their soldiers.

Sector General Deer laughed out loud when he heard Palomedes absurdist offer.

He would only agree if Aryay agreed and only if they waited until after the attack on the Estrain.
Deer was a busy SG.

Hive Queen Ar'Yay was dumbfounded when she was informed of Sector General Palomedes's idea. Was the Sector General serious? Of all the stupidity this is what he wanted to do now? After everything that has happened he wants us to show a united front and play nice? In the name of the alliance between the IR and the Quall? The very alliance that she was kicked out of for talking about an illegal arms deal and then not going through with it?

"Sector General Palomedes, I will not become involved in this foolishness. I don't know if you have been paying attention to current events, but I have more important things to do then play games. Just in case you have forgotten I am a Rogue Hive Queen, as in I was kicked out of your little IR-Quall alliance. I have previously helped you out of the goodness of my heart not because I was obligated through treaties. I have worked along side you and Sector General Deer on several operations ever since you all threw me to the wolves. Out of the three of us I have sacrificed the most when it has come to helping fight the enemies of the IR and the Quall N'Drone. I have lost billions of my children and felt more pain then you could ever understand. I wish to be left alone in my grief to mourn my children who have been stolen away from me and to prepare for the loss of a great many more.
However if you do wish to be of any assistance, you can ask Deer why I have lost all contact with my children that I sent to him. It was quite sudden and it pains me to have suddenly lost so many of my children for seemingly no reason. They weren't killed, they just vanished from my senses. I have been to busy with the murder of my other children to ask previously but as things are nearing the end, I do wish to know why the Larva I trusted him with were lost to me.

As for your attempt to get me and Deer to work together, there is little need for me to try to make up with Sector General Deer, he won't have to worry about me much longer.

Encrypted to Sector Generals Only

Sector Generals,

Perhaps we should table these attempts at working together with Aryay HiveQueen for the moment.
It is obvious she has never recognized the contributions of the Iron Republic to her people.

After all our treaty would have protected her. Instead she suffers in abject poverty as rogue Da'uhnb are targeting her territory.

Let her suffer the nuclear hell she has brought down upon her head.

Ego such as hers always accompanies a fall.
