The he nods to no one and turns back to Ragman's messenger) We must admit, when it came to people offering assistance....President Ragman....was not on the list of people we expected. However if this offer is serious then we would indeed be interested.
One of our fleets went into free systems space when they heard that a terrorist was developing a bio weapon and was planning on selling it off to the highest bidder. He claimed he was going to show off its effectiveness and then begin the bidding. Our forces arrived there and gave fair warning to the fleet there. They were told to hand over the prisoners and we would leave them along. They resisted and we were forced to board their ship in order to capture them. The ones in question escaped and we learned that the bio weapon was a hoax which we did suspect but we needed to be sure.
Unfortunately a group of fighters managed to surprise our forces and disable some of my ships there. which is why you are here now offering you aid. We have decided that engaging in repairs while in enemy space would be foolish as the ships are very vulnerable to enemy attack. We plan on pushing our ships using leyas through energy bridges and doing the repairs when we are safely away.
If you wish to send a small force to protect our ships until they are away we would remember your kindness and we promise to pay you back in the future.

That option is a extreme measure as we can not garuntee the safety of your ships in their damaged condition."

We understand that your people would not want to create an incident with the masters of the Free Systems, they have most everyone pretty terrified at the moment. Sadly it makes little sense for our forces to go to the plane of awareness as we can just make an energy bridge directly back to our territory. The only time we would be vulnerable is while in Free Systems space, so while we do appreciate your.....willingness to help without being able to enter the free systems you won't be in a position to do so.
