weapons licensing

To Whom it may concern,
As an IRLC I would like to purchase licensing permissions so I may begin constructing, for general sales, Iron Republic weaponry. Please let me what I can be licensed to build and the cost to purchase said licenses.

Depends on the weapons. Some stuff is way too dangerous to have in the hands of civilians or a PMC.

I've done some checking with a few of my requisition officers. We gotta set you up with a basic license first for IR tactical Mach Pistols (not rifles or cannons), Basic Plasma grenades, and Nanoblades. If you can produce these and go through a weapon inspection or two I might swing you a contract for building the cannons on a new model of Drop Tank.

Price for the starting licence is 10% of the gear produced, shipped to my warehouses at your cost.
Normal IRLC rules will apply.

If you agree you will be receiving your IRLC weapons manufacturing license Type 1 by intergalactic post. Under a type 1 license any WMD production will get yours revoked so keep the high end war profiteering on the down low. I might hate to have to glass your factories from orbit.

Weapons of mass destruction would serve my corporation poorly as we are normally called in to defend planets not eradicate them, so no need to worry on that. Furthermore only a fool or lunatic would sell them on the open market. Production will begin shortly and my people will talk to your people about the logistics of it.
