How do we make a surprise attack on an enemy?

So I understand that if I wanna attack an enemy we start a discussion in our faction forum. And then we PM the DR team at Admin, so they can look over our discussions.

But how do we create a secret mission? Like an attack that they don't get to plan against?

A great question. But you may not be satisfied with the answer. A truly invisible attack is rare, as most methods of Faster-than-Light travel give off verifiable readings that scanners will pick up. Factions like the EEF use Uthvelor seers who can divine a little bit into the future. Unity members can automatically know information learned by other Unity members across the universe. The Free Systems have Da'uhnb soldiers who can literally go into the future and check for incoming attacks.
Other factions have even more insidious methods of countering so-called surprise attacks.
So it would take an extremely rare event for a truly hidden attack to happen. Real Surprise attacks are actually ambushes or use multiple diversions. These types of battles could be created using the method listed.
Step 1- Create a thread in your forum to discuss battle tactics and in-character discussions about why you are attacking your enemy. Then once that thread has developed see Step 2.
Step 2- PM the Admin with the total plan including explanations of secret plans like diversions and ambushes. We will confirm the thread discussion and create a battle based on your plan the following week.
Step 3- Have one of your faction members be the first to post so your faction gets a second followup attack and/or ambush or surprise attack.
Step 4- Be entertained by the creativity and mayhem that follows!

What about nutty attacks like sending a nuke through a portal, or blackhole bombing a solar system. Not much of a battle there.

Hopefully those sorts of battles will be rare, but if you do really just have a single blast event PM us at Admin and we will advise you of your next step. That is only for those sorts of extreme long-range planet killing attacks. Otherwise follow the above steps and you should have an awesome battle

Also, I believe that fellows from other forums (Non-TRILAT) cannot see our posts in the TRILAT forum. Is that accurate?
