How do we research new Gear and troop types?

Yeah so I got a lot of new IR gear I want to design. And then I wanna field troopers who can be armed with that gear. Like specialists, like the Chemmancers I did up for the border wars. Do I private message admin with it or how does that work???
Dont keep me hanging I have mad plans I gotta fulfill, and I got the ideas to make it happen.

As I understand it. If you go to "Profile" and then to "Character Sheet" you can type in your current research based on the number of slots you are being provided (You may need to PM admin for that information). The DR team will decide how many weeks research will take and viola, new tech ahoy!

I hope this helps...and is correct

Absolutely Correct! and after a player posts their research every GT week we will update how long until complete. Important terms- RT means Real time. GT means game time. Two weeks of RT equals one week of GT.
We encourage you to keep an eye on your research. If we don't lower the time PM us to remind us.

Also if you have an item or charactertype to describe that is too big for your research box, put a basic description in the research box. Then PM us the more complex version.

Not all research will work. Some will be overpowered, others your faction may not have the requisite training or technology to accomplish. But don't let that discourage you, most items and gear will be accepted if only with some minor tweaking on our part.

Just a quick note of clarification, you do need to post at least a basic description of your research on your research slot on the character sheet. No posting things like " Black Project 1" or Secret Project etc. and then no description.

Just a quick addition-

When something says 'One Week GT,' how should I interpret that? Is it two weeks since I proposed it? Two weeks since that notice went up? Whenever the next week increments? Or should we just wait until the 'One Week GT' notice has been removed?

I ask mainly for the Mental Relay Development, simply because it will be useful for some engagements I am having with allies right now.

Always assume any changes to character sheets and applicable bonuses or new gear are applied at the start of the next GT week.
So if in the second RT week of a GT week, a piece of gear would technically end its research, it still wouldn't post until the beginning of the following week.
Keeps character sheet updates to a 2 week period so it doesn't become overwhelming.
