Brethren S45-21 was tired of this assassin as he grabbed up the head from the ground hearing the sound of the potential venting. Standard brethren armor had magnetic boots for walking on the outside of ships and could act as a spacesuit.
Looking over at his commanding officer he noticed Col. Jain was wearing her rebreather so she could survive the venting if she grabbed hold of something. He raised up his tether and grapple line and switched it from grapple claw to magnetic pad. He popped it onto the ground tested to make sure it could hold his weight (far more than Col. Jain). He then ran towards the Colonel clipping its carabiner to her weightbearing belt.
Brethren S45-21 held tight onto the head with all its valuable data.
Col. Jain thanked her brethren soldier and held tightly to the line tethered to the floor and her belt.

The other four brethren activated their magnetic boots, drew their flichette pistols, set to wide cone, and fired at the entire section of wall the assassin had been moving towards.

Dru'lhoc knew he was in trouble. Looking at the explosive that was set on the "window", he had little time. He was vigilant so he knew which one to knock over. He tried holding his breath as he did, knowing he'd need his to belt out one last command. As the table upended, he positioned himself accordingly. I always wanted to try this, and have thanked all that is good that I needed to. I'm going to have to thank the Consultant properly if this actually works.

Dru'lhoc was not afraid to die. He just liked winning, and he wasn't ready to lose... not like this. He positioned himself so that he could "ride"without the table. As the window would explode, the entire room would be vented. The Space Station's systems would seal off this room first and then attempt ti seal the room. All he needed to do was seal the breach for long enough for the station to restore the airlock to the room. When the explosion would come, the table would get sucked into the hole. He would then ride the the table, using his weight to position the table to cover the breach. He shouted to his Tzira to hold on or get out. His Tzira would, thankfully be safe as they did not need to worry about the perils of space as their bodies provided them the protection they required.

He counted down, held on, and hoped this would work.

Maligna would have cursed under her breath if she wasn't coughing so much, a brilliant plan sabotaged by the expensive nature of water, guess that is her fault for normally going to higher class establishments. Her eyes tightly shut and coughing she fumbled under her robes for her rebreather, just as she slipped it on she heard the crack of the window. Her air stabilizing she again reached into her robes to grab her grapple gun, normally she used it to drag people back who were attempting to flee but she supposed it's actual original use might be needed here.

Maligna whispered into her com unit to her troops to put on their own rebreather units if they hadn't done so already and to strap themselves onto something. They didn't have fancy magnetic boots like those Brethren units had but they did have rope. They were to lash themselves to the doors leading out, at least if they didn't go flying out of the room they could still block the entrances.

Maligna herself fired her grapple gun directly into the floor and hooked herself on, safety first as they always say. She then took out her second grapple gun and fired it into the body of Reggie-G, hooking it onto herself, she didn't want that body to be lost, you never know what you could learn from a corpse, even without the head.

Visiblity was neglible. Col Jain felt the Brethren wrap his arm around her he had something in his other hand. Maligna pulled her rebreather out as she fired her grappling hook at her feet hoping she pegged the ground and not something loose. Drulhoc was on his feet. Lacking a grappling gun or the Brethren's magnetic boots he realized he was in very real danger of being sucked into the depths of space.

After one more seemingly small crack the window gave and in an instant a good portion of the dust was sucked out. The bar became a maelstrom of flying objects, as literally everything that wasn't bolted down took flight toward the void. Reggie-G's body seemed to levitate as it was pulled outward. Maligna quickly whipped out another grappling gun. She had one shot to harpoon the cadaver. The grappling hook struck the lifeless body with a sickening thud as it left the portal in to the gloom. Maligna fought to pull the corpse back in. Who ever said dead men tell no tales obviously hadn't been with many.

Drulhoc grabbed a pillar knowing in a contest of strength his muscles would eventually fail against the pressure. He also saw his moment to act as the dust cleared. He kicked the nearest table. A white one that used to be a hatch to a colony ship at the opening. It was just large enough to clog it. The metal bowing with a high pitch screech.

Everything began to drift downward at a surreal pace. What was left of the extinguishing powder feel like snow. Those without rebreathers still found themselves coughing harshly the material clogging there throats and lungs.

As the Brethren set her down Col Jain wiped the thick white powder from the head her Brethren dispassionately held. She stared into the face of the bartender, the assassin must not have wanted him to be left behind as a witness. Col Jain began digging through the scattered refuse and piles of white powder hoping to find the other head.

Everyone with security outside the bar would be reporting the same thing an angry lynch mob of the galaxies unsavorables was quickly surrounding the bar.

OOC: You now must now deal with a lynch mob looking to collect a reward on anyone causing structural damage to lost hope station, as well as kill the murderers of the Barman. One action post, however you can talk to each other as much as you want. Everyone is covered in white powder that will take a serious shower to get rid of. For obvious reasons I really shouldn't have to state Col Jain is at a severe disadvantage trying to talk her way out of this one.

CPT Axis, Orleos feel free to post. TNI still waiting for a go/no go from Admin will pm you with result. Your respective teams come upon this gathered mob. The loud speakers on many of the decks reported a potential deck breach and also a 200 ghaz reward for detaining anyone involved. Its obvious that the meet turned sour, it is also obvious that the people about to get tar and feathered were there for at least part of it

OOC- Well thats just a challenge isn't it?

Col. Jain sighed when she couldn't find Reggie-G's head, it was going to be one of those days.

She grabbed the bartenders head and walked towards the front door. Moments before opening the door, she flipped out a nanite syringe and popped it into the bartender's head. She signalled for her brethren to take a defensive position around her and the bartender's body as it is restored by the Nanite syringe.

If it worked Col. Jain would say "Good Sir, I am sorry for your place of business being damaged.
It would be my pleasure to offer you a squad of Deltas to rebuild your place from these dispicable assassin's attacks at no cost to you. I will also put in an official request on your behalf to Dos Marx Brewery to have you restocked for free under a third-party insurance claim prepared by my personal starship's legal assistant.
If there is any information at all you could provide, any intel at all that could help me bring these assassins to justice, both for their murder attempts on you and for their successful vandalism of your establishment."

If the bartender agreed, she would simply walk outside with the Bartender and her guards and leave the rest to the mob.

Through the expansive haze of blue smoke that filled the dimly lit room, a red light blinked to life in Orleos's private quarters, calling for the attention of it's sole inhabitant. Glassed green eyes turned their attention from the hookah pipe in his hands and took a moment to register it's appearance, wondering if it was a fleeting apparition in his vision or a part of reality.

Slowly rousing from his induced stupor, he sluggishly made his way to the panel and blinked back tears as a wall screen lit up revealing Eante Vandoslit, "What is it Eante? More troubles with the EEF meddlers or are you calling to ask if I'm wearing clean undergarments?" he grumbled.

The woman just rolled her eyes dismissively before going on with business as was her mindset, "Matronly instincts aside, it has come to our attention that a possible cache of antiquities and other valuables have come into the light. Rumors mind you, but quite a payoff should they prove true nevertheless. What would you dictate as a course of action Director?"

Whether it was the pipe smoke talking or just his small penchant for gambling, Sacrenine responded, "Send the freighter 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' to look into the lead, I'll keep it small, we don't want that much attention. A few of Layne's men that are in my service, perhaps a duo of Prime's techies that I keep on staff, and see if you can get Prime to send that Archon he has that looks over my shoulder and babysits me."

Eante looked puzzled for a moment, "He doesn't trust you sir?"

Orleos made an attempt at a shrug, "More like he doesn't trust me to not do something stupid. One must remember, he's not in my head like he is with his lackeys. I'm 'unpredictable' as it were, if I had to guess. On another note, be ready to make our appraisal services ready, in case this proves to be true and we aren't the ones to get our hands on this supposed 'trove'."

He snorted derisively, "Gods know that we could make some money legally for once and keep the appearance of a legitimate company. Is that all Eante?"

"No Director. I'll have the men assembled in all haste." Then, with nothing more than a nod for confirmation the screen faded to a faint line and winked off.

He shuffled back to his chaise lounge, brought the pipe back to his lips, and inhaled deeply as his eyes fluttered shut.

--------------------------

Hours later there was a light knocking on his chamber doors and he woke groggily and bleary eyed. Slowly he sat up and shuffled over to an artificed china tea pot and filled it with water.

The knocking persisted as he poured tea into a mug, filling his nostrils with the smell of peppermint, "Yes! I'm coming! By the powers, show some patience!"

He made his way to the door and pressed a button on the side panel for it to open, which then flooded his room with bleaching light, and made him wince. Groaning and grumbling as he made his way back to his desk with his cup, "Get in here, then close the bloody door. Too damn early for this."

Blinking a few times to clear his vision, Orleos looked over the men and women standing in front of him.

Standing in the back of the room, back to the wall, was a lone Archon, the one Orleos was familiar with. His face was mostly impassive save a small downturn of his lips, suggesting his dissatisfaction. Despite the Archons query to Prime as to why he even needed be a part of the mission, Prime has approved of his use on the mission, but under the circumstances that he was to be used for extreme situations only.

Ahead of the Archon, stood two identical Unity technicians, Abel and Abraham, flanking the sole Appraiser and intermediary from Sacrenine's company. They were of average stature, medium height, with close cropped brown hair, and possessed rather ordinary faces that belied little emotion. They were ordinary, quite eerily ordinary, even by Earther standards.

The Appraiser, Francis Delecruoix, was a grizzled stoic of a man and talented auctioneer. He seemed rather out of place with being 2 meters tall, shaved head, arms the width of pumpkins, and beer keg belly. The man seemed like he'd be more at home as a bouncer or muscleman, rather than someone who took pleasure in historical texts and dainty baubles.

His gaze shifted downward and settled on the sadistic Kumfei necrotech triplets Agania, Miseria, and Lulu who were currently comparing their new appendages, extremities, and features.

Agania, 'the Eldest', stood only a meter and a half tall, but stuck out like a sore thumb. She whipped her electric blue pigtails about as she danced in place and was sporting teeth she freshly ripped out from one of the Tsogari's jaws. This gave her a cheshire smile when her mouth was closed at all times. Beneath the folds of her nightmare skin robes, descending down the front of her body, were a quartet of arms ending in void claws she tore off some poor kuliek. Deceptively strong from necrotech despite her size, she preferred to peel her way into people, before she ripped them apart from the inside.

Miseria, 'the Middle',was incredibly bald, no taller than a 3x4, and just as wide when it lay sideways. Beneath the scarf around her neck was a perversion of a toad's throat, her belly bloated like a pufferfish full of water, and she drooled enough to make you wonder if she was full of it. Her belly was full of different types of glands, each full of noxious, frigid, sparking, and combustible fluids, ready to be spewed out at a moments notice.

Lulu, 'the Freak', was the size of a small Earther woman crowned with mousy brown curls. Quite easily the most likely to be considered adopted at first glance, yet beneath that was a sadistic temptress that took the utmost joy in playing mind games with men and women alike, before revealing the serpent within, quite literally. Her kisses were chock full of venom, her nails coated in venom based polish, and beneath her dress was a retractable duo of poison fanged snakes tails, grafted from a basilisk and chimera. The girl was a serpent in Kumfei skin if ever there was one, and many men, as well as women, fell prey to her charms.

With a simple gesture he caught their attention and laid out immediate ground rules, he spoke more towards the triplets specifically, "You are to rendezvous with the freighter 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' at a safe distance from Quanalithi. You will then take that ship to a preset destination to uncover information regarding objects of a valuable nature."

"You are to then recover them, with discretion." on this he placed utmost emphasis, "But this is only concerning the greater public and the EEF, anyone else, I don't care. Ensure the objects are to be brought back to the Sacrenine facilities. Failing to do that, you are to position Mr Delacrouix in order to offer the services of the company, in such a way that the objects make their way into our hands. Any questions?"

A trio of hands shot into the air and Orleos's eyebrow twitched, "Any questions that do not involve the manner or limitations regarding the maiming of possible enemies or small creatures."

The hands fell with a collective sigh resounding, "As I thought. You have your objectives, go."

He sat back and before he knew it, promptly fell asleep, tea forgotten.

Dru'lhoc thought about his options. He knew he didn't have much time to concoct a plan. This was going to be ugly, especially since he had about 15 men on the outside. Thankfully, they're all obviously Free Systems. He quickly called in team to join the lynch mob. He had enough of them out there to be able to both rile up the crowd and make sure his men got to him first. He was going to fight off whoever wasn't his man and make sure he got taken in. Pro'if Dhanno, commander of his second squad, would track Sneha and he'd have Ni'icol Bhanzora track the "Consultant". Once he was beyond the mob, he'd simply walk into a Maehl Holding's office, get a change of clothes, and get back on track. He spoke his commands to his team, over private comms and in Tziran code, and took up a position, in the event that they stormed into the place.

He looked over to the others in the room, "So what's the plan for us to not get killed?"

Maligna dusted herself off and stood up. Well this was certainly an interesting experience, few of her jobs involved hull breeches while she was still in the room.
She looked at her guards and rolled her eyes seeing two of her men were sprawled out unconscious. Thankfully the third was managing to drag himself off the floor, he managed to avoid getting slammed into the wall unlike the other two.

"You plan on laying down for a while? Is this your nappy time?"
Shaking his head the mercenary managed to drag himself up a bit unsteady.
"Up now? good, now I want you to take a good look outside, I think we need to implement plan Gamma, get ready" (The mercenary nods and goes to wake up the others)
Turning to the other people in the bar, "Well now, I see you brought the bartender back, fine good, now then, now (pointing to the body of Reggie) We might want to bring him back too, you know, so he can finish telling us the information we were buying....and I guess figure out the best way out of here.

(OOC: That was a long four days!! My apologies to all, if I was colocated with anyone they would get a free free junk hits.)

The Beer team (Ironsbane, SGS, SM)
Col Jain popped the nanite syringe into the head with the detached precision of a well trained professional. The body began growing from it, with surprising alacrity the nanites synthesized flesh and in under a minute the bartender was able to stand on his two legs. “What happened? I was...” He looked down realizing he was naked and his eyes went wide. “My leg! My leg! Oh my god!”

“Wha...Wha...what happened?” He asked Col Jain, his nudity the last thing on his mind. Col Jain started to explain what happened in the last minute and a half.

Maligna watched the scene with detached annoyance, she had a mission and this bartenders new found ability to dance mattered little to her. “Well now, I see you brought the bartender back, fine good, now then,” Pointing to the body of Reggie, “We might want to bring him back too, you know, so he can finish telling us the information we were buying....and I guess figure out the best way out of here.”

Drulhoc tripped on his way out coughing and sputtering. The doc would definitely have to check out his lungs. “Whats the plan?” he asked.

“Give us the word, they will need a fucking shop vac to clean up this deck.” Her personal security detachments commander hissed into his microphone. She could hear the angry shouts outside and imagined the lynch mob gathered.

Col Jain knew the body of Reggie would be useful, she had heard of aliens on refuge healing damage even nanites couldn't repair, could it be possible that her nefarious allies(?) had access to such things? Possibly, would the mob her brethren wanted lay waste too just let them walk off the space station with the body of one of their own? Never. “We have to leave the body unless you want to fight until we are out of sector.” She said to Maligna.

Turning to Drulhoc Col Jain said, “I intend to walk out the door and defuse the situation, you are welcome to follow.” she turned to the bartender taking off her officer jack and wrapping it around him. “Shall we, the people are going to want an explanation.”

When they walked out side and the bartender started explaining everything the mob began to dissapate. The PA came on rescinding the bounty after Col Jain held up a few ghaz for the cameras to see and passed them to the bartender.

The Triplets (Orleos)
Agnia watched the scene unfold she was outlandish even by the stations low standards and was given a wide berth, “I wonder if I could sew on those insect thingies arms.” She said referring to one of Drulhoc's Tzira.

Miseria said, “I bet ya could.” acidic spittle flew from her lips burning holes in the deck.

“Shut up both of you.” Lulu said, “We have time for that later. We need to follow the people in the white dust, they must know something.”

(OOC: The mob has been dealt with Drulhoc is heading to the MH office to get some fresh threads. Col Jain and Maligna are getting ready to go. They don't notice the surveillance teams as you are both over night celebrities. Orleos feel free to divide up the triplets as see fit, they know that the other players have answers. If the triplets attempt to initiate combat or torture we will resolve that whence I decide how the dice roller will work. Post to include your next step after leaving the station.)
